Homey, there are probably more Tornegorivas sold globally in one week, than all the SD's ever sold since Noah !! Sure, a few peeps have had problems with them - but then peeps have had problems with the SD too !! I think we can call this one a draw !!

Slow down Ragadocious !! The SD was the best dang Ecig on the market back when it was launched ....... all I'm saying is that it's been superseded by better gear now, hell even the DSE clone version has improved upon it !!

It did show the way for simple Battery Mods, but the "market" is still very much dominated by mainstream devices like the Tornegoriva ....... why are you so anti a product that is probably the most popular Ecig on Earth today ??

In short, the Screwdriver is still a very good device - but the Tornegoriva is better !! Phew, thank God my Ego didn't get dented ?!

This is an essential aspect of Vaping which needs to be fully researched in clinical peer reviewed studies. The damage cigarettes do takes decades of use to appear – there is always the possibility that E-cigs could be the same ...... and even any minor issues should be looked at seriously and resolved before Vaping hits prime-time ......

However, collating nothing more than confusing “anecdotes” from people who may just be mistaken or hypochondriacs or just plain newbies who are unsure of what they are doing ...... is only going to sway the results against Vaping and give more ammunition to those who want to suppress it ...... not to mention there could well be people who will deliberately offer negative symptoms to cause unnecessary concern and put further "evidence of harm" right in to the hands of the Anti-Vaping lobby ......

But most importantly ...... is it really wise to start drawing attention to this just when the frikkin MHRA decision is only days away from being announced ??

I wonder whose genius idea this could possibly be ...... a supremely intelligent and highly qualified professional, who has a background working in a Government and/or Corporate environment at a very senior level, with legal experience and medical expertise, perhaps ...... or could it be someone who has none of the above attributes ??

The FDA can very easily bury E-cigs completely if they (really!) wanted to - but all they have done here is given a few Vendors a slap on the wrist and told them to get their shit together !!

As far as I'm concerned, this is worth celebrating not whining about !!

Still, it's a very interesting move ...... they are obviously using the old "boil the frog" routine and have very cunningly increased the temperature slightly in a very reasonable manner, while not too overtly displaying their real agenda ...... I wonder what Judge Leon The Assassin will make of it ??

No doubt this is a small step towards pushing through "compliancy" legislation in the future, which will be deliberately more invasive and of course so expensive that it effectively "regulates" all the little guys out of business ...... leaving the field wide open for the Big Boys to monopolise, as has always been the plan ......

Possibly they could use similar yet more stringent arguments to "ban" the import of Chinese products ....... naturally this would be welcomed by all the Yank dealers who will have an orgasm at the potential profits to be had ....... but after the applause has died down, will eventually be made much stricter and extended to cover US goods as well ....... can't wait to see what "influence" this will have on the MHRA decision coming up soon ......

The Screwdriver was one of the first ever "Mods" way back when Noah was building his Ark !!

It has been far surpassed by the new generation of E-cigs like the Ego and Riva ...... really, the only Mods worth getting currently are the WetBox, Little Sister and of course the amazing new Precious !!

Pretty much all the other Mods out there are nothing more than fancy battery cases with no extra features or functionality ......

The Ego/Riva models have circuitry to regulate the current, which does drop the voltage slightly (so making your atty last longer) but keeps power consistent to the last puff, instead of the usual drop off curve that Lion batteries normally produce ....... they also have an automatic cut-off to let you know when to recharge as completely discharging Lion cells really kills their longevity .......

They don't need any extra chargers or batteries or "maintenance kits" ...... there are no problems with losing clips or springs, no need to keep anything lubricated or polished ...... it's simple and hassle free Vaping !!

They are also far more compact and elegant so don't make you look like a wierdo when Vaping in public - which is important as we all should be missionaries trying to spread E-cigs far and wide and bring more people on board the Vape Train !!

Finally, they are more cost effective in the long run, as you can pick up a Riva Starter Kit for as little as £20-25 squid now ...... those two batteries should easily last you a full year, by which time a new and better model will be available for you to buy !!

In short, "Mods" are no longer the smart way to Vape like they used to be - and the Screwdriver is one of the oldest and most outdated pieces of kit around ....... I'm afraid to say it doesn't really have any virtues at all anymore !!
