and thanks for all your contributions in the 'Good Laugh Thread'... gives me many a chuckle to cheer up the day

They've started... the ads, we've gone from Summer last week, straight into Winter... nights are dark at 7pm, we need cheering up. What do we get?... bl**dy ads for more of our (limited) cash, and the start of the 'guilt feeling' for spending money we haven't got.

Why do I want a new bed, carpet, sofa, kitchen table before Christmas... they've all served me well for the last 10 years and will for the next. The only item I might want is a new telly, because if I see another decorated tree in the background, Santa on his sleigh, or cherubic kids carol singing, it might have a shoe through the screen.

It's the middle of September for **** sake, in my youth the season started a week, possibly two before the day, and half the fun was scurrying around for a suitable 'inexpensive' present for loved ones. Commercialism has killed the 'occasion' for me, what about you.

Which browser are you using, sometimes I have to use Firefox instead of Chrome, also Postimage has it's occasional problems.

Not really, they are a good employer and provide good value ... but just wanted to say that, IMO, ALL pre-packed sandwiches are CRAP, from whatever source or retail outlet. I no longer buy them, even if reduced to 10p, they all taste insipid, of no flavour... might as well eat cardboard.

I never thought bottled water or pre-packed sandwiches would catch on, but I was wrong, although that doesn't mean the buyers are'nt idiots.

I'm not allowed out late at night...my nurse/carer tricks me every time by saying 'let's get to bed now dear'... and once I'm in she buggers off home!

Used to love reading chrisjw 's rants about tripping over the pensioners in supermarkets, and what he'd like to do to them!
