. Welcome to this great friendly forum. As to your problem the mind boggles. All I can say is I've never experienced a nasty smell, on the contrary if its fruit flavours its a positively nice smell. Having said that I am certainly no expert but plenty of people on here are. So I'm sure you will have your answer soon. Meanwhile

I found this and got a bit wheezy when using 70pg/ 30 vg. Changed to 50/50 and it was sorted. So for me it was pg intolerance

www.vapeescape.co.uk/search.asp?types=Vaping+Spares+%3E+Cartomisers. Vision Nano I actually love these( although I seem to be in the minority.) have never had a leak, easy to fill, great vapour and taste. May be worth a try...need to close of the end on first fill and take 4-5 hard sucks. No gurgling, no airy feel, nice and small to carry spares Oddly enough I got one of those to try out a few days ago. Thought it would be good for testing juices but it flooded after about 1/2 an hour. It's all cleaned out now so I'll give it another try. Maybe I'm not sticking with stuff long enough to learn and adapt to their pros and cons - I've been through so much gear in the last two weeks. Don't fill it up too full ...I have had 12 of these and never had a leak...your not letting it go down the centre post are you?

Just had a look Jay....site looks great, easy to navigate and well laid out. Like the fact that the juices I have looked at are 50/50. Will be ordering

Thanks padiho I was just looking at the site you said as I saw it recommended on other threads here. Is the riva 1100 better than the vision 1000? I was just looking at the two and can't really understand the differences (I am a complete newbie to this!) I have had the Riva kit for almost 9 months and no problems. I personally think this will be more than adequate for your new adventure. It will last you a good days vaping, is uncomplicated ( which lets face it when new to all of this that's important ) and is reliable. The only thing I added was a mains plug for charging which can also be bought on Vapeescape.

Well done on your decision to give it a go, I'm sure you'll love it when you find the right equipment and particularly the right juice. As far as the juice goes, taste is subjective and I can't get on with tobacco tasting ones....I'm sure someone will be able to help on that score though. IMHO the best kit to start with is the Riva 1100. Vapeescape is a good trusted vendor.

Actually I was a little out, I worked it out on 52mg base Now corrected above^^^ I won't split hairs, just pleased that I was on the right track . I initially didn't realise that I had to take into account the pg in the nic base. Thank you for your help or my juice would have been very pg heavy!!!!!

Can someone just confirm that I have got this right please Have filled in ejuice calculator and have this ( I have 54 nic in pg so it says on bottle ) 6.7 mil nic = 22% 17.3 mil Pg/vg no nic = 58% 6.0 mil flavouring is = 20% This is for 30 mil. Now the bit I'm not sure about is....as I have nicotine in pg at 22%, to make approximately 50/50 pg/vg do I only put 18% of pg and 40% of vg Hope this makes sense

Hi, Something I found out is that if I add a few drops of Silver Spoon Peppermint food flavouring it improves just about any menthol juice. Phil Your right, it seems to smooth it for the tip

Update to my first menthol liquid, IT'S NICE. Thanks everyone, making up the menthol mix was easy as you said. Have made an apple menthol and a lemon/lime menthol. Haven't tried the lemon/lime yet but the apple is certainly vapourable (if there is such a word ) I have left it two days to steep.....is that enough?
