It might be a way of packaging the long wick replacement heads to save the wicks from fraying while it is being run through the blister pack machine.. Yeah Mac but mine was in the clearo not packed. When I bought mine it was a 1. something head and was too hot thats why I bought the 2. something replacements

Hi Andylec.
1. Make sure the head is screwed down well and still has it's little o ring 2. When screwing on the mouthpiece hold the nova up to the light and look very carefully at the silicone cap thingy and see if it is getting pushed down on top of the wicks and spreading, if it is you will need to take it off and use a small pair of scissors and trim no more than a mil off the bottom of the cap so it sits JUST above the wicks. If a manufacturer is producing replacement heads en-masse the are just going to produce the item the same way..Probably just pick from a bin and fit one to the clearo and the rest is blister packed.. It is bonkers, but that's mass manufacturing.. I would be happy for the free O ring.. PM me your address you can have both of them

Don't know if any of you have seen me lamenting how crap the T2's were as the vapour was so hot it was virtually unvapable burning the back of my throat something awful this evening I thought I would change the head yet again and if it was as bad the whole lot was going in the bin, well......this time when unscrewing the old head I saw something....a tiny silicone ring holding the wicks down against the centre tube.....the new one was just the same DUH!!! These little rings must be there to hold the wicks in place for packing and shipping and were doing a great job of strangling the wicks resulting in constant dry hot hits....funnily enough it is vaping great now....<<<<hangs head in shame for being a blind gobshite>>> Pam

Aha thanks pam I will give that a go . How long do they last I've had mine since the 25th of September When the juice starts to get low you have to twirl it around to make sure the juice gets into the holes.

I have some ce5 no wick vision type things, I used the first one yesterday, it doesn't seem to be leaking but is very bubbly when you draw on it, is this normal Thanks BC Mine does that now and then, blowing through the mouthpiece doesn't seem to work but wrapping it in tissue then shaking it down like you would a thermometer seems to clear the pipe work Pam

There were no pops from this forum that I ever saw. Sad to see Todd feels that he has to leave forums I really enjoy all his reviews. Pam

You never asked your kids to pass you your lighter and fag packet Karma ....... ? I remember being sent to the shops at 7 or 8 years old to buy fags for my mum, I would also get them for her if they were in another room, they were left lying around all the time which came in handy for nicking one or two from the box when I got to 12 or 13. My mum smoked while carrying all of us kids and there are photos of her holding us as babes in arms with a fag in her mouth. Out of the four of us only one of my brothers never took up smoking in fact he hated cig smoke right from the time he was a baby and would kick up murder and scream if anyone smoked near him. My other brother has smoked from a very young age and thinks nothing of smoking round his kids even as babies.

Nicotine is too bloody dangerous to be casual about in any way with kids. Did you think the same way when you left your fags and lighter lying around ?? I agree we must all take more care but let's not also be hypocritical Fags and lighters were never left within reach of kids in my house, plus there is also the fact that tobacco tastes and smells foul, sweet flavoured ecig juice smells and tastes sweet
