Hmmmmm, int'resting... I think I may have to get the Ego twist (purely for testing purposes lol), though I may wait for a week when I haven't bought anything else... The ego I have has already been passed on to a willing convert So, is the Twist much better than the variable voltage ego (which switches between 3.2-3.7-4.2) then?

Hi guys,
I bought the Riva 1100 kit from VE, and an Ego 650 batt, but I really prefer the look and feel of the Riva battery (the button's much softer!) and I was wondering whether there were any less visible differences between the two (makes/models/brands??) and whether or not peeps preferred one over the other and why?

Ha cigeliquid, just clicked on your link and realised its one of the websites I have open and keep adding stuff to the basket and *almost* going to checkout lol (especially that spiky thing - want!) but so far I've been to Jason's shop twice in a week and am heading back there again this week - it's very dangerous to have it only 20mins drive away... far too convenient! Since starting vaping, I've saved about £30, and spent about £180... Keep telling myself "It's not about the money, it's not about the money!", but then it's "Ooooh, shiny!" Nick

You know, I didn't even think of diluting my juice d'oh - I've got a bunch of samplers at 20mg which are too strong for me to vape for long without headaches/dizziness; I prefer my 10mg.. I must have a go at this, I might even prefer some flavours if they are not quite so.. um... intense?! Nick

I know - there are far tooo many things to buy, I have a dozen websites open with items in baskets all over the place... Keep having to restrain myself from clicking "Go to Checkout".... It's like window shopping/licking I was surprised by how different some of the juices I've tried in the atomiser tasted than in a carto... Sometimes too strong a flavour tho! It's kinda frustrating because I wanted to use the atty to taste test juices, but its like I can't trust that I'll be able to replicate that taste in a carto or clearo ??? Dripping is too much effort to be my primary way of vaping lol Well each combination is a lesson learnt, and there's many more to go!

E-mailed Jason and he said he was happy to exchange it next time I'm in the shop - sorted! Excellent vendor!

Ahhh, thanks Chrissie, that's useful to know cheers! I'm sort of trying one of everything anyway to find out what I like so it's all in the name of science!

Ah, cheers ant, not quite so technical as to have a multi-meter I'm afraid! My DIY skills stop at changing plugs and putting pictures up lol Think I'm going back to the vendor with this one! Nick

Tried pulling down the center pin on the clearo, but everytime i screwed it onto the batt it pushed it back up again... I think this one is a dud. Tried another V2 also bought yesterday, and it vapes fine. Ah well, into every life a few duds must fall! Thanks for the help Alan,

Thanks Alan, I don't *think* it's the battery - it works fine with the other V2, and I've just tried that fix with no change, but it might be the clearo center post, how do I pull it down? Needlenose pliers? Looking at the bottom of both V2s, there is a very small difference between them, the one that works has a thicker center post than the one that doesn't...

Hi guys, I picked up a few Vision Ego V2s from VE yesterday, but the first one I have filled with juice doesn't seem to be working When I first screwed it onto the battery and fired it up, I got a couple of hisses (as I do with my other V2) but then nothing, now it doesn't do anything on either of my batteries. Both batts are fine; my other V2 works fine on either, but this new one just sits there and won't vape! Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong, or is there something wrong with the V2 perhaps? Is this a symptom of DOA-ing? My batteries are Riva 1100's and the V2s are all SR. I had no problems filling it with a needle tip bottle, definitely didn't get any juice in the centre tube.. Baffled here, all help gratefully received! Nick

Hi guys, Just curious really: I got a 510 SR atty to do some direct dripping with all the new flavours I've got, but I was surprised by the cost of the atty: £4.50 for 1 atomiser, compared to £5.99 for 5 Boge cartomisers I thought that the cartomiser was a combined atomiser and cartridge, whereas the atty is just the atomiser - surely it's cheaper to make the atomiser on it's own? Confused.com... (And yes, I know I should have got a 306, but I don't particularly like the LR cartos I have and vapeescape didn't have SR 306's... ) So, can anyone explain why the atomiser costs 4x that of a cartomiser? I may just buy a bunch of cartos and test my samples in those anyway - I've been having problems with flavours hanging around in the atty. But, I was curious about this and thought that someone on here may know a good logical reason why the prices are so different Nick

Grizwald does a Vanilla Tabac and a Manily Vanily, and I think the Manily has a more tobacco-ey flavour, but it still doesn't taste like vanilla hand rolling tobacco (which is what I smoke exclusively in analogs). I must try the RY4 - see if I can get that taste I like in rollies! However, so far (1 week in lol) I'm a total convert to Strawberry Ice Cream... mmmmm
