The whitw paint on my Riva batteries is coming off in places, revealing the metal. I quite like it and am wondering if there's any reason I shouldn't use paint stripper or something to remove the rest, leaving me with nice silver batteries. Any thoughts?

Well I keep saying I'm gonna give mixing my own a go, then these offers come along so I try not to go overboard so one day I will actually run out and have a need for mixing.

Thanks, must just not be to my taste. Am using with a rebuildable though fortunately. Found that with a few drops of menthol added it's ok at least, and the rest of the vanilla will get used for cakes anyway!

Although now panicking as I'm away on a stag do Friday and postie probably won't come until after I leave. On my last Ego head, but I did also get a Vision Nano to use with my skycig today so I'll survive one way or another.

Just got my latest order from Jason and shock horror realised I'd ordered Viva Nova replacement heads instead of Vision Ego. Any same person would return them and swap, but no I decide instead that this is my cue to spend more money and buy a Viva Nova tank (and more juice, even though I have 100ml on the way from Holland)!

Hi all, Only sort of mixology this question. I know lots of you swear by Nielsen Massey Vanilla extract. I bought some yesterday (£3.80 for 60ml in Asda) and added it to the 24mg Cherry Pie I got from ecigwizzard's clearance lines as it was a bit strong for my taste.
I'm a bit confused though as the vape tastes to me similar to when I made an early vaping mistake of adding normal food favouring to a mix, which turned out to have oil in and ruined my vision ego head (burnt the wick far too quickly). I feel like I can taste the oil.
Am I just paranoid?!

Sure I saw on here once upon a time a link to a mixology starter kit. Any ideas if I imagined that, and of not any suggestions? Happy to just buy all the bits I need but if so what do you recomend I buy, and from where, just to give it a go?
Thanks

Without realising it I passed my 6 month anniversary a couple of weeks ago. I think the fact I hadn't even realised says a lot about how easy I'm finding not touching stinkies now. Haven't been on the forum much in recent months either, perhaps it's just because vaping has just become second nature to me now. Will soon be delving into the world of rewick/coiling so sure I'll be on AAEC lots more then!

Hi, I have approx 20ml left of a 30ml Dekang Butterscotch bottle left. It's just not to my taste.
Would happily swap for around 10ml of any sweet/fruity Grizwalds flavour or leftovers of the sort to about 10ml.
Thanks

Have to say I've put back on a fair bit of the weight I lost in the months leading up to me quitting smoking and taking up vaping. I think part of that is down to me enjoying vaping after flavourful foods, but a large part of it is actually down to the new office I work in always having cakes and biscuits!

Last week I had to work at a different office to normal in another town. The handy thing was that my department have a small two-person office there just for us, and for the first couple of hours I had that office to myself.
So, I did what any of us would do, shut the door and vaped away whilst getting on with my work. As it was on a busy corridoor and I was an unfamiliar face I thought I'd best lock the door so nobody burst in to see who was in there and think I was smoking.
All was fine until half an hour later when I went to leave the office and discovered that I could not unlock it from the inside as the key was wonky. Worst of all I couldn't even remember what room number I was in. Eventually I managed to work out where I was and call security to come and let me out, and slid a bit of paper under the door saying 'Help!'.
Still, at least I could happily vape away while I waited for the cavalry to come let me out!

Something that many of you have probably already discussed or at least though occured to me recently.
When I first took up vaping I was holding my wares almost like a flute and pressing the button with my index finger. This was fine but when I got my mini ego battery it was more noticeable that when I do this and my thumbis therfore pushing on the bottom of my clearo I am loosening the clearo tube each time I press the button. This has no doubt led to many of the leaks I have expereinced.
I recently switched to instead having the button facing downwards and pressing it with my thumb. This has meant that the only contact I'm making with the clearo is with my mouth on the dript tip and I've had a lot less leaks.
I think the reason I started vaping like that is that with the longer battery from my Riva kit doing the 'Flute' technique covered up more of it and as an insecure newbie this made me feel more comfortable.

Ordered another Grizwald's pick n mix after a few weeks of mainly one juice, looking forward to mixing it up a bit.
Added a note to my order for Jason "It's OK, I have enough pens already ;o)"

Well this thread turned out different to how I expected..... Good to hear there are others with friends/family who also have an irational problem with vaping. As I say, my wife doesn't mind me doing it in the living room, just seems to think she notices in confined spaces. She hated me smoking so I know she is grateful that this is my new hoby!
