Nearly three weeks off the fags and was tested for the first time today since then really in terms of stress.
Had a rather snooty email from a precious managercomplaining about something trivial this morning and a subsequent barage of emails following my explanation of what she was complaining about.
In previous times this would have made me want to do two things
1. Tell her to stop being a numpty and grow up, before walking away from my PC and replying as though she has avalid point.
2. Go and have a cigarette (before completing number 1).
Just realised now that having a fag never crossed my mind, just a wander outside for a quick vape.
She's still a numpty though.

I've been thinking about this since my post this morning and have now changed my mind. Had a couple of really good vapes where it was clear to me the nicotine was playing a very pleasant part of the effect.

I really do wonder about how much effect the nicotine is having on me to be honest. I feel like it's more the act of vaping that I enjoy and wonder how much of the rush is just down to deep inhale/exhale. Would be intrigued to try zero nic side by side with a 24mg and see if I notice a different head rush.

Interesting, I've seen videos saying to direct drip onto the battery, as long as it's a sealed one like on the ego, so that's what I've generally done. Had no problems apart from it being a bit crap. Can't see how it will ruin it when it's just a flat surface? Apart from clogging the threads, which I regularly clean.

Hi Dave, just generally not very good. Only get a couple of decent puffs out of it at most and it's just dry/chemically. Should I just drip onto the battery connection then screw on the atty or into the atty directly onto the element? Have tried both, same result really)

A new expereience for me was getting "Vapers Envy" from his setup!
Just realised now that when I showed him my Riva he said "I need to get one of those for my girlfriend". Don't think he was suggesting I'm a girl for only having that, but now paranoid!

Just having a vape outside with my SkyCig parading as a normal fag when I look up and notice someone puffing away on what turned out to be a Viva Nova. I work at a University and haven't seen anyone else that's gone digital, he is a new student over from somewhere in Eastern Europe. Said he's bought enough juice for three months but needs some spare parts so directed him to the forum and gave him a few websites and discount codes. Seemed like he is going to be rather active in persuading his new friends to switch over so I may be seeing more and more around which will be nice.

Going to potenitally make myself sound stupid here. I posted asking about direct dripping last week as I was doing it (dripping onto my riva battery top) using a carto at that point. Was advised to buy an atomiser which I did, but not having great success. But my one does not have a mesh/bridge in there, it's just the wire coil, I thought that was the difference between an atomiser and a carto? ???

I'm not so much interested in seeing if I can convert someone in a preachy health benefits way, more a selfish reason of wanting people to share the experience with! Said when I'd come round one evening with all my kit and juices and her and her hubby can try it all.
Was thinking maybe a business idea would be to do e-cig parties, like an Anne Summers party (but less naughty), where popele invite their smoker friends round, try out differnt e-cigs and can then place an order.

Just been for lunch with a good friend who is a smoker. She asked how my e-cig was going as spoke to her when I first got it. Showed her all of my accesories and talked for a while about it. She seemed genuinly fascinated by it but really couldn't persuade her to try it.
She's recently married and says she's going to quit smoking soon (presumably to try for babies) but says she'll be fine going cold turkey.
Wondered how much success others have had converting people to vaping and what was the final straw that broke them?
