Hi I have a new white subox which is superb looking but the base of the new tank seems a pile of shit. Has anyone else had issues with irregular ohm reading no atomiser 9.9ohm readings etc. I know its not the coils as they work fine in my older stainless base so I can still use it with this but I want the white one !!!!!!!

look at the design of these, they have been designed to accommodate tbd suggestions I think ie carts that you cannot refill or come in contact with liquid, 2 ml max. I feel these will be the first and probably only vape device legally sold soon. BAT and pharma don't want vaping gone just control over it and the money it can bring in and we all know they will get their own way we just need to find the loopholes.

Hi has anyone come across a problem whereby the istick fires up on its own? I have one which tbf was a little temperamental due to usual pin problems. I have had this thing apart and re soldered replaced 510 insulator etc and it works better than before but still it keeps puffing on its own lol not sure what else to look at. Any idea's

What did you use to polish it? looks nice. With reference 510 connector I have a customer who says his has completely come out of the box when he undone the atomiser which tbh seems a little unlikely when I took the plastic cover off of mine to look at the board, on mine at least I can wobble the atomiser twist it whatever it does not move. short of being sat on etc I cannot see this happening, any ideas

Thanks very much, the batch no on my dodgy one is 0005 and when the replacement comes I will use it and not resale. To be honest I am thinking of switching business into the diy liquid flavour concentrate market as equipment makes me nervous!! there are too many people selling crap for maximum margins now and high end stuff comes with even more risk to the ignorant. Plus saferciggie was an error in judgement when I picked a name so going to switch everything to another called flavourclouds once I have finished building the site. I would hate to walk away from vaping completely but an awful lot of shit is flying our way I fear.

I had 5 of these to sell on with 4 absolutely perfect tested each for 3 days as I always do with new mods before selling on to customers aware of the problems. however the 5th one I only installed the battery to test and within seconds I noticed heat on the rear plate, I removed the plate to find the positive end battery connector very hot and melting battery sheath so removed the battery. After a couple of minutes I replaced with a different battery but chip was dead!!! now as much as I loved these I will not buy any for resale until this is sorted which is a real shame. I now have a dud one that is being replaced for me without a problem so if it is possible to to simply put another board in I would be grateful of any instruction of how to do it as I would love this one for myself.

Unfortunately vaping success is becoming its downfall. On the one hand you have vapers basically sticking two fingers up to the non smokers by vaping indoors which is never going to end well because non smokers far outweigh smokers/vapers. On the other hand due to the increase in popularity any tom dick and harry are buying e cig kits as cheap as possible to make a profit with no knowledge of the products at all, safety or otherwise. The manufacturers due to increase in demand are churning out low quality goods to feed supply which is never going to end well considering the chemistry of batteries. The reality is the batteries are the biggest concern and accidents will happen so the need to educate people on their use is a must. you can buy a cheap ego kit from the local petrol service station anytime but do you get advice about not leaving on charge overnight etc? no of course not. Electrical devices of all types burn down houses and cars every year from laptops to phones to hair straighteners. Customers need educating but weather they take the advice is another thing entirely, unfortunately

Dress it up how you like or ignore it and pretend its all user error!! Batteries are the big thorn in e cigs side plain and simple. A short time ago the only e cig you saw available were the cigalike, now ego ce4 blister kits are popping up everywhere. You should see some of the stupidly low prices I get sent from suppliers for blister pack e cigs, I would not touch these things with a bargepole but many are and making a mint on them, ive seen some on a market for £39 for 1 and people going nuts over them!!! Its a bloody ticking time bomb. I for one am considering giving all kits with charge bags as standard as although I recommend them at present most do not bother but then if these things are safe why should they? Having a venting battery is not to be ignored as its very frightening indeed! As for it being only cheap batteries there are plenty of stories of venting brand name batteries. How do we know which battery to get and where from to be certain of no problems then please tell as I would love to know. All my kits and I don't sell that many come with a full guide of what to do and do not do, what information would you get from a market stall or even local garage where I have seen these blister packs. All very worrying whether we like it or not.

sometimes people screw the mouthpiece down too tight forcing the rubber topper to compress the wick and restrict flow, use a pin to gently lift it back up and then put the mouthpiece back on but not screwed right down. This usually works a treat and applies to all types. simon

How can they possibly enforce such stupidity, where there's a will there's a way!! And I stand by what I have always said, if they never labelled them as e cigarette's and made them look like fags we would not be having these problems and ironic as most of us would not touch a cigalike.

Not all ce4's are the same even though they look like it as I have found out, still a pretty good deal if only 3 are any good but I personally would not take the risk.
