You're right, they don't, and it made me wonder after I re-read it whether this is the case. I've spent the last half hour recoiling a cotton wool pad wick (100% cotton) which I procured from Mrs Moon, and have just fired it up. So far, so good. Yeah, yeah, whatever, your secret is safe with us. I didn't say it was another person Anyway, after checking the contents, it says they're bleached without chlorine, so I'm off to boil some candle wick.

All unbleached means is what it says, makes them look good to the green types. They don't say 'no additives' Be interested to see if boiling it does make a difference, cos the price is pretty good. The answers to all the questions... www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290657103551?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649No additives (allegedly), but it just doesn't get wet at all other than the parts which are left dunked in the bottle. Macca - I'm glad someone else has found the same. After spreading a thin coating of juice along a short length, it just seems to run down it rather than soaking in, which would indicate to me that there is some kind of coating. I'll have a go at boiling it and see if it improves it, but make up removers... I might raid Mrs Moon's dressing table this afternoon. Cheers all, if neither of these work, I'll look at getting some 1mm and doubling or trebling it up.

Actually it is, and I'm really cross with myself for having to start it as I don't like starting new threads when the answer is already out there a million times, but I can't find it.
I thought I'd asked this question on another thread, which I prefer to do, but can't find that either, even in the "last stupid question you asked" section of my profile, so if somebody has answered it apologies for not thanking you.
It may well be that I didn't actually ask it all, in which case I may well have memory issues.
Anyway, I've tried 2mm cotton wick in my Vivi and it didn't wick at all. Not one mm of capillary action was achieved from my scientific research of poking a length in the bottle and looking at it to see if it had gone darker after an hour.
I think I'll get some silica, but am I better off getting one thick bit of 2-3mm or using doubled over 1mm?
That's it, thanks for reading.

Cheers to the three repliers. FB - good man, I knew it made sense. Froggy - I thought there would probably be several answers tbh, but... PG nic Vivis at the mo, but have Aga T's and another genesis on order. Stock Vivi silica heads, which I'll continue to use but have SS on order, so it'll be both. Tanks. I may try dripping, but solely for tasting new liquids. 20-30% flavour, PG based. Perps - The stuff I've been using is diluted at 10% with distilled water (ecigliquids, I think), which if I do dilute it I'll probably use again, as I don't drink and there isn't any vodka around the house, and I wouldn't want to get pissed while vaping. It's obviously no great hardship to dilute it, distilled water is cheap as chips, and I'd do as you suggest and decant it into another bottle, but thought if I could get away with one less faff step then I would.

If I ordinarily mix with 70% PG, will I still need to dilute my 100% Boots VG, or will there be enough PG in the mix to not have to bother?
Edit: That was a very badly-worded question, so fair play to anyone who understands it. I'm not going to rephrase it as I'm curious to see if anyone does.

My wife is an HR manager so I'm fully aware of what they can and can't do. I'll just play by the rules and not vape in work, it's just a shame that the company doesn't recognise that I've made a healthier choice. It's odd how different companies treat it. A mate of mine works at a place where they bought all the smokers Liberro kits to encourage them to give up smoking, and they're more than happy for them to vape at their desks all day. I'm not entirely sure what the policy is at our place as I only have a few puffs in the toilet when nobody's about, although I was showing it to our head of dept last week in the office and he encouraged me to take a puff to see how much vapour it produced.

That really is a shame that your company have done that FB, but as Oneday says you would face disciplinary action if you vaped indoors. At the same time, making you go to the smoking shelter and inhale passive smoke isn't acceptable either, the smoking ban was introduced partly to protect workers from passive smoke They'll argue that he has the option of not vaping at all.

Stuff like this impresses the hell out of me.
That's fantastic being able to do stuff like that.

Indeed Moon . . . and unfortunately DHL's excess duty charges are generally higher than what you'd pay throught the EMS/Parcel Force system. It's the price to be paid, fast tracking the Customs process . . . It's not like I'm in a rush for it either. My first order I went a bit mad as I had almost no vaping gear, and with stuff for my mum and sister it came to over the $250 threshold for free shipping, although before I got my mum and sis involved I was going to pay the extra as I wanted it immediately. If slow-boat was available I'd only be buying about £40 worth of top-ups and stuff I quite fancy the look of, so not what I'd deem necessities and would have been happy to wait, but it's now twice the postage cost of and then there's duty on top. A right bummer.

I can barely see the coil, let alone rebuild it,its a Vivi Nova atty. There's tons of vids on YouTube about rebuilding Vivi Novas mate, give it a go. Even a novice like me can manage it.

I've never used the term myself, as it just sounds a bit 'playground' to me, as do the other terms like analogues etc, and I will continue to call them fags as I always have done. Never liked 'cigs' either, just don't like the way the word sounds.
I still like the smell of a burning fag, but have always hated the after smell, either on my clothes, fingers or other people.
That was all a superfluous preamble to me expressing my incredulity that anybody can possibly find a colloquial term for a fag offensive, but clearly some people are more sensitive than I am.

Try searching for Romastino on YouTube, as it may have been him, although I don't know which video you're referring to.
He's definitely from the north east, although I wouldn't swear he's a Geordie.

Good info there, Perps.
It unfortunately makes buying from HC potentially a lot more expensive, and while they have stock that I'd like and I was more than happy with the goods, the prices and the excellent service I received on my first and only order, I think I'll have to look closer to home for these things as the price difference after DHL postage and any duty/VAT will be negligible.
A great pity, as their prices with slow-boat shipping are fantastic.

Good searching, FB. I like the dark blue as well, it's a lot better than the blue they do for the v2.5s, which reminds me of the colour of paint they use in public toilets. Searching? It was just a case of copy and pasting from my "Wish list spreadsheet". I was torn with the blue one too, black and blue Provari with black view sleeve and blue drip tip or Blue sleeve and black drip tip. Decisions decisions... I know. Both You sound like a man with taste. I think for the extra £3.50 it would have to be both.
