Kick??

www.safercigs.co.uk/Evolv_Kick/p705283_5787804.aspxIt will give a mechanical mod regulated wattage, so your vape is always the same throughout a battery's life, rather than starting out at 4.2v and gradually decreasing as the battery loses power. A mechanical mod is basically a tube with a switch, as opposed to an electronic mod which has inbuilt variable voltage or wattage. Ninja'd by FB.

Good point Karma - will see if I can jerry-rig something with my Lavatube tonight to see if I can get the charge of the battery. As feared - sounds like I need to track down some 18490s and save the little 'uns for brief stealth operations. Even though the AW IMRs are "safe(r) chemistry" they aren't protected so they shouldn't be used on their own - right? Is there anything else around that can sit between the battery and mod to provide some degree of protection? Just so the 18350s don't go to waste! Safercigs do a short stop which is a reusable fuse 3mm thick. I got one for a tenner just before Christmas but think that was a sale price.

It's easy to brush it. Just get a 3M scotch brite pad, wrap it round it and twist. I brushed my GG Stealth, Penelope like that, and used some 400 grade wet dry paper for the Spheroid (before I sold it). Hi Benny, That looks good and if I pick up a polished one, it's what I'll be trying to, but I don't want to pay full price for a new one that I'm going to butcher, so would rather pick one up secondhand for less money. I'm not desperate, so can wait for one at the right price, or for a brushed one.

Its all good, I'm chuffed I managed to get one all if only because my kanger t3 was leaking so badly I had to blow out the battery every couple of hours. Was getting a bit tired of ejuce all over my face, it stings I can see how that might have irritated you. It's a real bitch in the eye.

yeah sorry, they didnt have the option on the vapourart site when i ordered. i think vapist must have pre-ordered a bigger batch. Don't be sorry mate, you weren't ordering it for me. I expected Vapist to have some in last night as he hadn't specified on his stock update, but found out beforehand that he only had polished. I'm surprised yours hasn't sold yet, but can't imagine it'll be here too long.

Wow it's interesting I tried a couple of cigs on Saturday and they were pretty awful however still crave which is weird, I don't think I've found the right juice/ecig yet. I've decided on a night out ill have one and not feel guilty because I know I'm doing so well, just struggling with eliquid loads which is taking the enjoyment out of it which makes it worse that I can't have a cig if that makes sense! What ecig have you got moon? Daytime I use a kicked Bolt with Vivi Novas and evenings I'm using a Vamo with my Aga T, as I'm working my way up to the more expensive stuff. Sorry, I'm taking the piss. I went through clearos and cartos in a couple of weeks, clearos too small and cartos too terrible for words. I found my (first) 'ideal' set up to be Vivi Novas on an Ego Twist. Much more capacity than clearos and variable voltage battery, which meant I could adjust it to give me the flavour / heat I wanted. I found this combo to be bang on, and costs about £30, although you'll need more batteries for when it's charging. TBH though, everyone is different, and nobody can tell you what you'll like, it's really a case of trying stuff for yourself without spending too much money.

I've only been vaping five months and I remember asking the same questions as you are, as everything was so bloody confusing. So many 'izers' and battery types makes it a minefield for newbies, but people on this forum are fantastically helpful with a wealth of knowledge behind them, and no question is too much trouble. I've got a vague idea what I'm doing and buying now, but posts like yours make me smile as it's all still fresh in my memory. I had a few dodgy days in my first couple of weeks, but stuck with it, and once I'd established what I liked and got the right kit there's been no looking back, although I'm not saving quite as much as I originally envisaged, as you may well discover yourself at some stage. I initially started with a view to using it as a halfway house to giving up, but then I thought bollocks to that, I really like this so I'll carry on doing it.

Great price, Dan, fair play to you. If only it was brushed.

Got a chrome one as that's all that was available at the time, and the button's starting to look a little worn.
If black chrome had been available I'd have got that, but sounds like they're not a very durable finish.
If SS had been available I wouldn't have considered either of the other two.

I'm thinking of de-chroming mine to see how it looks.
Probably like Bet Lynch, big and brassy, but I'm not mad keen on chrome, and the fire button is starting to lose its shine anyway.
Anyone taken theirs apart, and was it easy to put back together?
