thanks guys this has been a big help, especially as I have a mini nova on the way, and need to know which heads to use, as I don't want to damage any of my kit.
I have been trying the skysig cartos with great effect on the riva, they seem to vape better than my innokins, but that could be down to the juice as much as anything.
I am guessing that with the wattage, higher is better??

Ok so I'm gonna ask a real noob question here, I know voltage and resistance both play a big part in vaping, and I understand that lower resistances and higher voltages can increase the heat of your coil and thus the amount of vapour produced.
Now I have a skycig kit and a riva 1100 kit, and was wondering what the voltages are on these batteries, and what the resistance is on the skycig cartomisers.
I know the innokin cartomisers I have are 2.2 ohms, and my i3 clearos are around 3 ohms, so no issue with these.
The big issue for me is knowing how low I can go on resistance, with the kit I have, and not have to worry about it blowing up, or burning out.
I have enjoyed my experience of vaping so far, and am now looking to go further into the technical side, and I feel that I need to understand these basic before going into the world of VV

I think I have much the same storey, I started with skycigs tho, then got a riva 1100 kit, and now looking at VV devices. I was a little paranoid at 1st when using the skycig due to the blue glow, but soon realised people were more curious than judging, and I had been introduced to skycig at work (and since introduced others). I was a little worried about getting the riva out at work, but again it has caused curiosity, with a couple of people now trying to get vaping allowed in the office. I tend to use the skycig when out and about (with the orange tips ) or driving, and the riva at home and at work, and I can't get enough of it. I now have a mini vivi on order, and looking forward to continuing my journey into vaping.

I know a couple of people at work who swear by tobacco flavours, and have been vaping longer than me, so I guess it's the normal horses for courses thing

I think my current fave is peach flavour by Hangsen, I got a 10ml bottle with my Riva kit, and find it so refreshing.
I also ordered the oasis e-liquid sample pack from mirage (32 flavours x 2.5ml), which I think are a great price as a trial, especially as I am finding some of them a little disappointing and weak tasting, where others are fairly good.
I guess this of course brings me to my next issue......... which e-juices are the best on flavour and value??

In the month I have been vaping, I have noticed a change in my flavour preferences. I used to be a big fan of tobacco flavours, but now I'm more into the fruit and sweeter flavours (although it still has to be tobacco in the mornings).
I was wondering if this is something others have experienced. Obviously I realise it's a case of each to their own, but I do find it strange that my tastes have changed so much in such a short space of time.

I ordered a mini nova this afternoon, the reviews I have seen have all raved about them, and the fact I got £5 knocked off doesn't hurt

I have to admit, I stealth vape at work, and have in a few other places, although I do worry I might set a fire alarm off and get caught

I use a Buffalo router, it's very reliable, I have had it a few years now, and used it with 3 different ISPs without a hitch. It is much better than any router I have received from my ISPs (including the BT home hub)

Thats the kit I am using, it's great, I highly recommend it, the riva 1100 mah battery is a massive improvement on the little skycig battery. Its a very easy kit to use, and I' finding I only need to recharge that battery every 24 - 36 hours, and getting a consistent vape throughout use

I would also be interested in this, I have heard a lot of contradictory reviews on RY4, so have been hesitant to buy it
