Where can I start on the mini nova..... it looks great on an ego, it can be easily stripped and cleaned, I got mine out of the box yesterday, and stripped and rebuilt it in under a minute, with no instructions. It's easy to fill, and the wicks draw juice really quick, I got flavour from the 1st draw. The flavour is much better than a carto from my point of view, and there is no dulling of flavour from the 1st to last vape. I have gone through 2 tanks of juice since yesterday morning, and prefer this to anything else in my small collection. It produces a good amount of vapor on a standard atty head (it comes with 3, 1x 1.8, 1x 2.4 & 1x 2.8). I have been leaving my riva laying on it's side next to me when in the house, and carrying it in my pocket all day while in the garden, and there have been no leaks, not even a drop. I decided on the mini nova due to it's 2.5ml capacity, my CE4 holds 1.6ml, which isn't quite enough for the whole day, and the full size nova holds 3.5ml, which is more than I would vape in a day. Cleaning is easy, simply strip down and rinse each part under warm water, I then dried mine off with kitchen roll and reassembled it, refilled it, and it vaped great from the 1st hit with a new flavour. I am actually thinking about getting another, as my CE4 is nearing the end As you can tell, I like my mini nova

I personally take my riva apart and put in in the carry case in my pocket, I always have a spare charged battery with me, as well as the usb charger. I also carry a combination of cartomisers, clearomisers and either my CE4 or mini nova, along with a couple of drip tips, an ego cone, and a couple of cig-a-like batteries.
I don't carry any juice with me, as I tend to have a good selection of flavours in my case, and have more than enough carto, clearo and tank capacity to last a couple of days if needed.
I have yet to have a leak, I think as long as you ensure to seal your tanks, cartos and clearos properly, you shouldn't have an issue. I put rubber caps on both ends of my cartos and my i3 clearos, and put a cap on the drip tip of my tank, and so far so good.
I do tend to ritualise since I got my riva, making sure I have all my cartos and clearos filled, stripping and cleaning my tanks, then filling them, and this is something I do every morning. As long as I have my kit with me, I am going to have a good day.
Really it is all about personal preference, I think everyone carries different kit with them, although I am sure most with egos would carry a spare battery, just in case 1 fails or runs out of charge

I know this issue, my mother in law managed to get this to happen, she left her battery on charge in her PCC, and put the PCC on charge (something the instructions say not to do).
As for having batteries on charge for over 2 hours, I regularly have my cig-a-like batteries on charge in my PCC for longer, and haven't had any issues

well this little fix has made a massive difference, I rapped the tape round about 5 times, and now have a nice snug fit.
I think the issue here is in the O ring on the drip tip, as it is a loose on my cartos too, although still usable with the cartos

cool, I won't risk it then, I don't want to start melting my toys down I guess I'll just have to keep up my search for a VV box mod diy kit, and save the 1.8 head for that

thanks guys, I have been swishing to clear the condensation, but still being new to using tanks, thought it would be a good idea to check all was well.
Now before I damage something, I have a 1.8ohm head for my mini nova, is is safe to use it with my riva 1100??, I know my rive will give a peak of 4.25V, so this will take me to 10watts with the 1.8 head. Is this a safe level to use?? or will I end up damaging my riva or mini nova??

well in the few weeks I've been on e-cigs, my sinuses have cleared (they were a big problem when smoking), I can carry a basket of laundry up stairs without getting out of breath, my skin is clearer, I'm sleeping better, I'm no longer cursed with yellow fingers, and I'm not constantly hacking up gunk.
These are all things I have seen in the 1st few weeks of previous attempts to quit with methods given by the NHS, but the difference here is that I'm not irritable,I'm not constantly fidgeting and fiddling with stuff, and I'm not getting any of the side effects of normal NRT (such as damaged skin from patches)
I think thats a good result all round, and hope the NHS will look at e-cigs more closely

..... but should I be getting condensation in my tanks??
I noticed it on my CE4, but didn't really give it much thought, and I am now seeing it on my new mini nova. It only seems to happen when I am about half way through a tank, is this normal??
I don't get this with my i3/CE2 tanks, I know the attys are at the bottom on these and at the top on the CE4 and mini nova, is this the reason, and if so, is it the same on all tanks with attys at the top??

I don't understand why these sites don't allow e-cigs, when they allow other products for quitting smoking to be sold

Thats not a bad call, e-cig kits on prescription would be cheaper to the nhs than patches or pills, which often work out more expensive to buy than tobacco.
And offering a forum, such as this, would be more available than a stop smoking clinic (my local one is only open tuesday and thursday mornings when im at work).
The way i see it, i haven't so much quit smoking, as traded it in for a healthier model

That is strange, I am a member of 3 other proboards forums as well as this one, and have used/run them for a while, but never come across that.

I can understand that, as I used the same word to get my mother in law on to skycigs, she still refers to it as smoking, and 95% of the time still only "smokes" in the kitchen.
If I refer to it a vaping, she looks bemused, as do most of the people I work with.

I know what you mean, I have tried every NRT product on the market, cold turkey, tablets, and nothing has worked as well for me as e-cigs. My mood is the same as it was, my appetite is the same, my health however is improving.
E-cigs work for me as I'm not just getting something to do with my hands, and the nicotine, but also the sensation of the throat hit when inhaling and the vapor when exhaling. No other quit aid or treatment does the same, and with this, I am able to reduce my nicotine use is manageable steps of 1mg or 2mg at a time, rather than having to jump 6mg in 1 go.
The simple fact is, most people want to quit smoking for health reasons, not to get off nicotine, and this is the perfect way to keep the nicotine, and remove the other chemicals that cause health problems, as well as bringing a much more fun aspect of a multitude of flavours an setups to be used.
