Sorry Stamina, went off topic a bit there, back to your problem. It really sounds like your getting shorts so think that some thinner wire might help. I use .16 Kanthal for the novas because of the space shortage, & 3 wraps is usually enough to get approx 2.0 ohms. Got you a couple of piccies just to highlight. Need to subtract .3 from the reading A member on here, deesigner, has some .15 nichrome which would work just as well . . . . can be bought here, fantastic price & excellent service, also check out page 6 so you know not just my opinion allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=classified&thread=16162&page=6#334573

I know it sounds absolutely terrible, but if she has to put her weight on it, have you considered crating her to keep movement to a minimum. We had to do that with Ollie-cat when he had an op for a luxating patella & un-united tibial crest & had pins & wire put in . . . was the only way to stop him jumping. They do say it's easier to crate a dog then a cat (only tried the cat so I don't actually know) 4wks of hell, most of the time with him screaming at the top of lungs cos he wanted out, but I dread to think what would have happened if we hadn't done it Whatever you decide I'm sure it will come good in the end.

Capella Gingerbread is a much smoother liquid if it helps 4madcats. Thanks for that, it's a variation of your gingerbread brulee that I use it for. Think I'm going to have to invest in some capella's just to see what the fuss is all about. Tutti frutti was the one which was separating, which is a crying shame cos it smells absolutely gorgeous . . . & is the most expensive one they sell. Got 28ml here if you want to try it Might actually have to resort to some baking just to try it Not quite desperate yet Kev, but a generous offer. Think I'm going to peruse your capella line & the recipe section. I do need a decent cherry since I'm decidedly unimpressed with CCW cherry.

Right you lot 'fess up . . . who's bought all the ginger flavouring from CCW. There I was card in hand ready to restock . . . . . sold out Already had one vaping crisis this month, couldn't stand to run out of one of my favorite flavours, luckly I got enough left for another couple of mixes, so hopefully will survive till they get some more.

Gonna re-wick it @ 4-5 wraps, also i have 2mm wick, should i double it to make 4mm thick? also is it best to put one strip of wick on top of the finished wick? Gonna use the paper clip method as you advised:) You could double the wick if there's room for that thickness, but you might find it starts drinking the juice with 4mm. Don't think you need to put a buffer wick on, specially if your doubling up. It's the same on the zmax, it's the default setting. If you go into the resistance/ohms menu & try it without an atty on it will read 9.9

Many thanks to Gaz for the clockworks RDA & Tank, plus the wick & wire. Nice piece of kit at a fantastic price, & great delivery.
Off now to look at the wick & coil setup . . .

AKA my wife to be. She has relied on me for the past 7 months to maintain her ecig and clearo's and I am fed up of doing it for her. She refuses to learn how to clean it out herself and tells me she will just go buy some cigs so, I need to replace her clearo with something else which she can do herself. I was thinking of a DCT (without been a dual coil) because I think they break too quickly. Any other recommendations? Kind of know where your coming from. Have nearly the same problem with my OH, but his excuse is that because of his gorilla mitts it's all too fiddly. I let him off cos 1; I like doing all the fiddly stuff & 2: he's really good at the larger mechanical stuff I wouldn't even look at. Plus he does the washing up, & all his own laundry Only thing I can suggest is a good quantity of everything. People sometimes forget when there's 2 of you vaping in the same house you really do need 2 of everything cos you both need back up's. Kinda gone off the vivi nova's myself, but can't deny they're good for the price, capacity & ease of maintanance. Just make sure you have enough ready filled, & get used to rewicking/coiling while your watching the news If she threatens to go out & buy some cigs fine . . . tell her you'll buy her an ashtray for outside the backdoor, & when does she want her stuff moving into the spareroom cos you don't want to sleep with an ashtray
