I came home from work to this..... And blood all over my cream carpet as the other half let her in the living room while bleeding!

Not a clue got a few panicked texts while at work - I was with a patient so didn't see for a little while. Got one saying omg the dogs have killed something in the garden there's blood all over... Then oh no it's mitsy she's bleeding.....it won't stop there's so much blood! I finally rang other half and said ring the vet if it won't stop and as he thought there was something stuck in there he rang and they said bring her down. Nothing stuck but deep cut inbetween pads. She's had pain killers antibiotics and has to go back next week for a check up. They also took out what we thought was some sort of implant in her chest that turned out to be part of the pin set up that was holding her hip together!

Given the option of trying to diagnose the problem while stemming the bloodflow or taking her to the vet, I think I'd have chosen the vet like pixi did.

All the vets I have met, care about the animals, certainly alot more than I do.

All the ones I have met got into it because they love animals.
