I agree with Perps, there's something not right with your MVN Gary. I have loads, both sizes, probbly all clones, and never had a leak. Some things to check:
1. Is your atomiser head screwed down firmly? If isn't, unscrewing the top cap for filling can also unscrew the head and then it leaks down the centre tube.
2. Do you have the silicone and metal cap over the atomiser head? If that's missing then you have no seal between the atomiser and the top cap and it will leak through the mouthpiece/drip tip.
3. Are the silicone o-rings in place top and bottom of the tube? If not you'll get leakage between the tube and the bottom or the top cap.
ETA 4. Is your tube plastic? Does it have a crack? Some juice flavours attack plastic and can cause leaks. If yours is leaking because of this, a metal tube is what you need. 3 colours (blue, black, silver) are available from Vape Escape, about £3 each.
If you can work out where it's leaking from, you should be able to fix it. I love my Vivi Novas and aim to replace everything I use with them eventually.

I use Postmodern's VG and have never diluted it, never needed to. The VG I bought from Asda on the other hand I dilted with some water from the kettle (had been boiled at least twice and allowed to cool). I'm only making for me and hubby, I wouldn't use kettle water if I was making to sell.

I've been bunging a sliver of cotton ball over the wick/coil of my vivi novas and it's brilliant. I have tons of cotton balls, probably a lifetime's supply for this purpose. Might give wicking with just the cotton a go next time. If it works well I'll never have to buy wick again.

My Novas sound like Darth Vader on a bad day - am I doing something wrong?

Up the wattage you've set the RMS at talisman, and let us know if it makes a difference.
Edited - perhaps it would help if I explained. In AVG mode you are not getting 3.2 volts all the time. You are, instead, getting 6.4 volts for half the time, and 0 volts for half the time. The average of 6.4+0=6.4 volts is 3.2 volts. The switch between 6.4 and 0 volts is very quick - too quick to notice. BUT it makes a difference to the taste. So, set your Vamo to RMS and alter the wattage in .5 increments and see where that takes you.
Obviously if you can't get it to taste right whatever you do, you can go back to AVG. It's your Vamo, and your vape, so do what works for you. AVG aint gonna make it blow up in your hand and there is no Vape Police.

It might be the way I hold it Dave, kind of diagonally across my hand so the butt end is in the little dip on the heel of my hand and all my fingers wrapped round it. Without the 18650 extension the butt end sits in the middle of my palm and only index and middle fingers wrapped round, which makes it feel too top heavy for me. I just like 'em long # #

Thanks Robby, and thanks again for finding Vapor Break for us all.
I might give Zainy a go, but her shipping is a little high compared to VB and I've more than half decided to keep my juice buying in the UK for now. We get through a fair amount of Hangsen and Dekang as our 'basic' juices and I'm working my way through trying all the UK and US made brands (like Alchemist, T-Juice, Pixie, Pipe Sauce and so on - next on my list is Vermilion River) plus the juices I make myself. We've only been vaping a little over 2 1/2 months so have yet to find a favourite vape. Having a lot of fun trying them all out!
Something I forgot to mention about the Vamo that might be interesting for those who haven't got one yet. I was going to get a couple of 18350 IMR batteries so I could use it in short mode. I've since changed my mind. The reason for this is the button placement. In 18650 (long) mode, the battery section fits nicely in my hand with the electronics section just in the right position for my thumb to rest nicely on the fire button. If I shorten the battery section the balance is all wrong, I don't have enough length to sit in my hand comfortably (and safely). So I'll be sticking with 18650 mode.

Bit of a review update. Despite my little accident with the Vamo, it's still working very well. It'll become my back-up when I get the SS version. Hubby doesn't like the size and weight of the Vamo, which is a shame as I was going to get him the SS version for his birthday. I just hope he likes the Argento Midi I got him for Christmas - does anyone know if I can use the Efest IMR 14500s with this instead of the xxxfires that came with it?
Anyway, back to the point of this update. Along with the Vamo I also ordered some other stuff from VaporBreak, and thought it might be useful for others to read about them.
First up is the Vivi Nova 3.5ml kit, $6 each. I bought 2 of them. By the price I know they are knock-offs. They both work just fine and they both fit other Nova tubes. They have the airhole in the side of the base, which works fine for me. The heads are slightly different to every other Vivi I have (and I'm not sure if any of them, all minis, are originals) so I now have 3 different types of heads which could get confusing... I'm really not bothered about this as I'll be recoiling them myself, and for the price (about £4) they are a steal. I'll be buying some more of these.
Second is the Phoenix rebuildable, which I bought for testing DIY juices mainly and also new ready-mades before I commit them to something with a larger capacity. I don't get on with the 510 bridgeless dripping atty I have and hoped this would be better. It is, by a million miles. Easy to clean, looks easy to recoil (haven't done this yet so can't say for sure). At $5.50 it can almost be considered disposable! Seems solidly built, threading is good and it just works. Love it, will be ordering another one to keep for menthol/mint flavours.
Lastly the juices. These were, unfortunately, a major disappointment. The worst offender is Hangsen Lemon Limed, which is one of hubby's favourites when mixed with menthol and he gets through a clearo full a day. I bought 50ml of this, and it arrived while we still had some of the Safercigs (also Hangsen) version left. There is no lemon/lime smell from the VB bottle at all, while the Safercigs one smells strongly of both fruits. The scent from the VB bottle can only be described as "yuck" - like watered-down cleaning fluid after it's been used to clean something rusty. Horrible. I'll see if hubby wants to taste it, and if he's ok with it I might add some more flavouring, but I have a feeling it's going down the sink. I'll be sticking with Safercigs for this one in future. We also have 50ml each of Dekang's Watermelon, Whiskey and Triple Menthol. The menthol one is ok as I can add more menthol if it's not strong enough, the Watermelon doesn't smell as strong as I was expecting and I may have to buy some Watermelon flavouring from somewhere to top it up. Or just add a bunch of suitable fruits from my extensive flavourings collection. The Whiskey doesn't smell or taste at all like the Dekang Whiskey we've had elsewhere and again is very weak on flavour. I did have a bunch of 10ml Dekang flavours in my "buy after Christmas" basket, but I've deleted them now. I won't be buying any more juices from VB unless he ups the flavouring percentage to match what I've come to expect from UK resellers. I'd be quite happy to pay more per bottle for this. $5 for 50ml bottle is certainly a bargain, but less so if you have to factor in buying extra flavouring and the fuss involved. For repeat business I think VB would be better off adding more flavour and another $1 or so per 50ml.
Juice aside, I'm very happy with my order from VB and I'll be buying more kit from them. But NOT juice - especially Hangsen. Dekang may be worth a punt if you like your flavourings mild or are happy to add more yourself.

Display is fine, although there is a very tiny white speck on the inside of the screen that I'm sure wasn't there when I got it. Will have to search for the "how to strip a Vamo" vid that someone posted a while back Thanks for your help Robby.

The button itself can be pulled out a little, so it's the same position as the - button, but it slides straight back in again. When I press it there is no travel and no click. I only have to touch it gently and the wattage goes up. The button itself is undamaged, but I'm sure I've damaged the spring or button or whatever is underneath it.
On the plus side my sense of smell is coming back and I'm currently vaping DIY Swedish Fish (concentrate from Alba Vapours at 20%, 70/30 and 8mg) at 8 watts - OMG it's AMAZING!

I don't believe it. I only got my Vamo yesterday. Today it fell out of my pocket onto a hard floor and came apart. The top section that holds all the electronics is a push fit into the battery section and it's that tht's come apart. Now the push fit isn't tight enough Also it must have landed on the + button because there's no longer a click when I press it. It still works, but the + button is now uber sensitive so I'm often getting a much hotter vape than I want. Anyone know what, if anything, I can do to fix it? I am so cross with myself.

Frogster, I'm recommending your starter packs to a friend who is getting some kit & juices for her mum for Christmas, do you knowif you'll have 5ml bottles available again before it's too late to order?

what tracking site did you use? Sorry Robby, forgot to answer this. I used www.track-trace.com/post. Enter the tracking number, click "Track Direct". Then enter the number again and the captcha code, scroll down and (hopefully) there's your tracking info.
