Your first problem sounds like a UAC issue - some versions of Windows will stop you from writing files to certain places on your computer (for example where all the programs reside). This is supposed to be a security feature to prevent malicious bits of software from infecting the other software on your machine. If you really want to be able to save files there, it can be disabled fairly easily - take your pick of instructions: www.google.co.uk/search?q=disable+windows+uacAs for your second issue, not sure if this is relevant but in my experience EJMU didn't like being associated with its own files in Windows. I always had to run EJMU then use the "open" function from the menu.

Another couple of features have been added to dot1ml: - Comments on recipes
- The batch mixer
The batch mixer is dot1ml's equivalent of having a computer screen filled with EJMU windows - add recipes to your batch and they'll all be displayed on one screen. Screenshot: If I'm not paying close attention to what I'm doing (or the phone rings, OH interrupts etc) I find it easy to forget whether I've added an ingredient to a mix or not so I've added a little feature that lets you click on any ingredient to mark it as added. You need to have an account to use the batch mixer and you can only use your saved recipes. This might be changed in future but for the time being it avoids having to cram in all the nic base and liquid settings into each recipe column. The batch mixer displays in ml or drops as per your user settings and will also support the dual-unit (drops and mls) option when it comes. The header of the site has also been re-jigged a little to make way for more things to come.

Yes - that's correct, your e-liquid will be composed of - 10.33ml of your nic base
- 5.68ml of PG
- 10.33ml of VG
- 4.65ml of bubblegum flavouring
... for a grand total of 31ml. You can add flavouring later but because it doesn't contain any nicotine this will slightly reduce the nicotine content of your e-liquid. If you're only adding a few percent then I wouldn't worry too much though. If you're new to mixing then it's often a good idea to start out with smallish batches just in case it doesn't come out as you had hoped! I usually go for 5ml (or 10ml if I'm feeling confident) but some start with as little as 3ml mixes.

It wasn't meant to be a touché moment, it was a serious question. And there I was thinking you had (quite rightly) pounced on an obvious omission Apologies for going off topic emmita!

For dot1ml, you should be able to simply type in 30 for the overall quantity. If you click inside the box you can also use the up and down arrows on your keyboard to increase/decrease the amount. Unless you make your way down to under 5ml the +/- buttons always use increments of 5ml. I wouldn't say that EJMU is much better than dot1ml (I believe the only main feature that EJMU has is the feature for combining different nic bases, whereas dot1ml has a few the EJMU doesn't). Full disclosure: dot1ml is my website Can dot1ml be used offline? ie can it be downloaded to use, or is it only online? Touché! The mixer will still work if you load it up on a laptop then walk out of wifi range though.

I have put in recipe on two different calculators for a 30ml quantity of 12mg nic Bubblegum flavour.(10%) On one of them dot1ml - I seem only to be able to enter a quantity of 31ml for some reason - but in general, have I done it right. The first image is for dot1ml...... For dot1ml, you should be able to simply type in 30 for the overall quantity. On top of the FA red wine, Mount Baker & Flavor West both do a trio of wine concentrates: white, Merlot and Blush Chablis - Not sure where to find them in the UK though.
Off topic, but Health Cabin do a plum wine concentrate which sounds much more palatable!

Just a quick update - hashtags are now live on dot1ml: - Adding a # in front of a word in the recipe description will tag your recipe
- They also work in the search form: dot1ml.com/search/~alldayvape
- Hashtags will show up in search results/recipe lists
Now all I need is time to go over all my own recipes and tag them properly!

a1laserboy, found the rounding problem - fixed now! Dot1ml should work fine on tablets already. It should also "work" on phone browsers too but I haven't done anything to make the layout adapt to smaller screen sizes so it may not look great - especially in portrait mode. I've just made a quick change to make the ingredients increment in 0.1 for values under 1.5% - it seems to be working ok but let me know if you see anything weird happening. As much as I like the idea of making money from dot1ml, I'd rather it remain free to use . There will be other monetising options further down the line should I feel the need to take time away from my day job. The next feature in the pipeline is a tagging system very similar to Twitter's. It's not far off so hoping to release it around the end of next week.

Hi NickIcon , been using your excellent site for my mixes for quite a while and found a couple of things I'd like to comment on.. As per the last couple of posts, when you change the name and ingredients/ratios of your recipe, it would be nice to be able to 'save as' to allow us to save versions as we are perfecting our mixes. It's not convenient to make the recipe fresh when adding a flavour or changing ratios. Especially if it contains lots of flavours. A target flavour % so we can easily see if each flavour we add makes the correct percentage in the overall mix. Bug - - Changing a flavours ammount % by .5% does not always update the dilutent % Thanks for making this for us - I find it invaluable See ccw champagne ratio change, but pg volume does not below. Correct mix: a1laserboy's lime/champagne/anise/liq20ml @ 18mg/ml, 50/50 Nic base(100mg/ml, 0/100) | 18% | 3.60ml | PG | 30% | 6.00ml | VG | 32% | 6.40ml | DV - Aniseed | 10% | 2.00ml | FW - Black Licorice | 4% | 0.80ml | Lorann - Licorice | 4% | 0.80ml | CCW - Champagne | 1% | 0.20ml | DV - Lime Zinger | 1% | 0.20ml |
Edit/copy/share this recipe: dot1ml.com/mixer/446b69rIncorrect mix: a1laserboy's lime/champagne/anise/liq20ml @ 18mg/ml, 50/50 Nic base(100mg/ml, 0/100) | 18% | 3.60ml | PG | 30% | 6.00ml | VG | 32% | 6.40ml | DV - Aniseed | 10% | 2.00ml | FW - Black Licorice | 4% | 0.80ml | Lorann - Licorice | 4% | 0.80ml | CCW - Champagne | 1.5% | 0.30ml | DV - Lime Zinger | 1% | 0.20ml |
Edit/copy/share this recipe: dot1ml.com/mixer/446b69rI can't actually think why I haven't made a 'save as' option - it's going onto the to-do list. I suspect the error in the quantity is due to the addition of the 0.5% increments - something somewhere must still be rounding things down to whole numbers. I'll have a check through the code when I'm in front of my computer. Thanks for pointing it out! Glad you're finding dot1ml useful :-)
