To be fair, at my age, I wouldn't be fussy. Anyone would do....

Goal celebration from the bench, Not sure of the exact details but I presume they all dived on him. I don't mind flying out as a replacement. I'd give Gerrad the good rub down any time

Hi Sarah
Following on from this ecigs are the top headline news story on BBC breakfast news this morning. We are creeping higher and higher into mainstream media. If we keep pushing with more and more support from the doctors on our side, we might just win after all!

Not long back home, that's DS moved back here from Uni, for a whole month. We need to move him back at the beginning of July Gawwwd!... Does he like your new place? P.S. Very well done on the sofa! I set my searches up for auctions ending soonest and pick out things I like that no one has bid on. Last week I got a floor to ceiling bathroom storage unit for £10. I also got oneof those bins that you don't have to touch. It opens on it's own when you walk up to it. I saw a large one in a shop for £100 a few weeks ago ( what idiot would pay that for a bin??!!) mine cost £5! it's becoming an obsession though.

Thanks DiThere should be a 'man with van' round at the old place now clearing what's left, then I'll have the lovely job of cleaning it I'm hoping to get a few relaxing days next week, some sunshine would be good too, it's back to rain here again I've been AWOL again Karma and missed you moving. It really is mentally exhausting as well as physically isn't it? We have been here 6 weeks now and I am only just beginning to settle down. On a brighter note, I love this place so much I feel I have been here forever, and the biggest fun has been trawling eBay for great bargains to feather my new nest. It's unbelievable what you can pick up on there. As you probably know, when you move into a new home much of the furniture and stuff you have just doesn't go right in the new place. I have managed to sell off old stuff and replace with "new" things at a fraction of what it would cost to buy from retailers. My best bargain so far is a £1800 LazyBoy leather reclining sofa barely sat on as woman's husband bought it and left her 6weeks later. I got it for £380!!! Don't wear yourself out too much K. Take time to sit and enjoy your new surroundings.

Hi Blownupdolly, It would be great to see you both at Hackspace. I am afraid the carpark will be full of activities so you won't be able to park there, but that entrance has ramp access. If you google 447 Hackney Road you'll see Emma Street runs directly behind the building, that is where you'll find the carpark entrance. I will check out parking bays in the next couple of days and get back to you on locations. It will be running from 12-9pm, so anytime is cool, I'll be there all day. Maybe Phoenixflame (Julie) might be interested in coming along for a nose too. A couple of other people from the meets may be coming too. I was hoping to set up a "vape in the park" for the summer, but we'll start with a "vape in the Hackspace" Don't worry about my parking. As Bill will be with me to get the wheelchair out of the car, I can park anywhere close by. I am even allowed on double yellow lines as long as they don't have a yellow stripe on the kerb. I'm really looking forward to it! Your idea of a vape in the park sounds good too. Bring your own booze, food etc! Just hope we have a heat wave. I wonder what park would be most convenient?

Yes I am now dreaming about vaping I dreamt I was at a vapefest in Glasgow and there were all these stalls in a big marquee with DD fighting off the press (press scarpered when they saw me LOL) and I was hunting for Blownupdolly who couldn't make it but lived just across the square. Met Perpetua and load of strange men (must be fiddles and his bros LOL) with huge beer bellies vaping... Lots of vaping gear mostly being given away though I somehow managed to miss out on that and only managed to get my mitts on one i34 clone. But yeah not huge crowds and it was a pretty small vapefest and I didn't recognise any of the vendors. There was an inside ring and an outside ring and for some reason all I was bothered about were the press Anyone else having vaping dreams? Jane Lol it may have been a dream, but sounds about right! I never know till the last minute whether I'm going to anything! Depends on my decrepit body

Hi all, I thought I'd post this here as I know a few of the GLV are interested, and mart166 is round the corner. Hackspace is having an open day on Sunday 1st June(1pm-7pm I think). All are welcome, and as well getting a chance look around the place, there will be a homebrew bar( it's illegal to sell the stuff so voluntary contributions will be order of the day) a barbeque and all sorts of demonstrations by some of the groups that work in Hackspace including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, robots, quadcoptors, caravan/spaceship simulator, virtual reality simulator, 3d printer, lasercutter, and many. It is Hackspaces yearly attempt to show everyone what goes on behind its normally locked doors. A lot of stuff will take place in the carpark( weather permitting) but they will also be demos in the classrooms and basement workshops. If it rains the marquees are on standby. I'll be there all day, followed by a vape friendly pub. If anyone is interested post here or pm me. Good health, off to the pub to have a war with this hangover. Hi Phil Just found out that Bill is not working that day and we would like to come to this if I am feeling ok. It will be great to see all the stuff they do!

Have a great night all. Hopefully I can come to some of them over the summer as it will be warm enough to sit outside.

Hi Sammy Thanks for the warning. I do have COPD but I'm not really bad with it. Also, there are now lots of various paint ranges specially made not to cause problems Annie Sloans chalk paint being a popular make. No probs, just didn't want you to suffer. My mum for emulsion in the house used breathe easy ( crown ??? ) no good she ended up in hospital . That's awful. Must have been very sad for her to give up something she obviously got a lot of pleasure from.

Blownupdolly just thought I should mention this, maybe totally irrelevant, but do you have any breathing issues? Paint, turps, varnish, solvents all which would need to be used in a confined space, I wouldn't want you to dish money out, and then it make you ill. My mum used to oil paint, bloody good she was too, but copd, and emphysema meant she could not do it any more, due to the smells. ( fumes ) Hi Sammy Thanks for the warning. I do have COPD but I'm not really bad with it. Also, there are now lots of various paint ranges specially made not to cause problems Annie Sloans chalk paint being a popular make.

[br Beautiful!! Chelmsford Auctions maybe worth a shot too. Buy from them then take it back once improved and see the profit. Well have to start calling you David Dickenson or Lovejoy. Never knew they existed! Might go up there one day. There's also an auction place in Rayleigh. Not sure if I would get stuff cheap enough, but I would certainly consider selling stuff I've done up. Gonna go buy some paint tomorrow. Some of it isn't cheap! I do have some good quality brushes though.
