Yeah running at 10w to try and get anything out of it. The vapour drops off within no time, still tastes lush though. Resistance stays fairly even just takes more and more work to get a decent vape. It's 70/30 PG mix with 20% flavouring.

I've got some Dutch chocolate mint and it's one of my best ever flavours. But... It kills coils... Fast. Within an hour or so performance starts to drop off, still good flavour but no vapour.
I don't understand it, I use the same ratios with all my liquids but this flavour is the worst best vape.
I can only think it coats the coil within minutes and reduces its efficiency.
Any ideas?

Good for them babs. There have been several articles debunking that NY Times article. It was so obviously bullsh*t and had about 800 comments mostly very critical of the poor story. Unfortunately there were many more articles that basically reprinted the bullsh*t. That is exactly the biggest problem we face IMHO Many "news" sites and papers don't do their own news, they just reprint what another has already written. Even if you shoot down one the story get's reprinted and reprinted ad-infinitum and more and more people read it, the more times they see different news outlets saying the same thing the more likely they are to believe it. The other problem we have with media is how often we see stories going national and international about the number of people that have stopped smoking because of e-cigs and how much healthier they feel and compare that to the number of stories of people who's batteries have gone pop or they've died from something that it's impossible for e-cigs to cause or perish the thought suffered a minor nicotine overdose that lasted for 10 minutes. Or worse still, how often does Stanton "the mad mechanic" Glans get his utter fantasist bollocks he calls science get reprinted and treated as gospel. Truth is no one wants to read or hear about someone doing well and being happy - that's boring. Death, destruction and disaster is what sells, always has, always will - stories about avoiding a potential slow lingering death aren't interesting and immediate enough to compete with fairytales about thirdhand vaping and pneumonia and the "gateway effect".

Oh and what people say about the camera, ignore it. It's far better than the note 2 camera even at 4mp.

I've been looking at the new HTC One too When I first got my Note2 I loved it and thought it was quick, but lately not so much lol Unfortunately I'm not due an upgrade on T-Mobile until September Is it really a huge jump from the Note2 kibbster ? It's funny, if you'd asked me that when I bought it is have said no, it's not much different. But within a few minutes of using it I knew there no way I'd ever want to go back. The screen is stunning and everything working instantly is lovely (although note 2 want a slouch, the One is much smoother) Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards

I have just tried to plug the charger that came with the phone into a socket and...it doesn't fit! Nice one HTC. Good job I've already got plenty of chargers. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards I've just used USB to the PC. It does say that if you use another USB lead it slow charges and you have to use the HTC supplied one to fast charge. Also just ordered a 64GB SD card for it, wanted the 128GB but they are seriously expensive. 64GB should get all my music and plenty of space for photos/movies.

Just got my new phone today, the new HTC one :-) Lovely bit of kit, much smaller screen than my Note 2 but this phone is a hell of a lot faster! Taking me a while to get used to sense again but is nice to have some uniformity back in a phone after 3 years of using Samsung crazy coloured menus. Haven't tried the camera properly yet but the couple of shots I fired off in a pretty dark lounge focused very quickly and low light levels seem very good. All in all very impressed and the phone really is growing on me :-) Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards Mine turned up today too But 3 are yet to activate my SIM and deactivate the old one, so I felt like an ejit carrying two phones around all day! But I did listen to music for an hour or so and only suffered a 1% drop in battery, with my two year old One X, I'd have lost 5-10%. I can't wait to really see what it can do. As for listening to music, I expected the speakers to sound better than those on my One X, but the One M8 sounded better with earphones too. I think we'll be very happy together for the next two years. Haven't really tried out the speakers yet but they are rumoured to be excellent! Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards

The whole thing is a surprise/shock and turning into a total mess but from what I can gather Vapefest organisers are going to discuss and look at it again next week. Best not to add fuel to the fire when feelings are running so hot.
Hopefully this was just a misunderstanding and misjudgement that can easily be rectified.
It does however highlight exactly why I'm no longer on UKV, way too many trolls that are allowed to derail anything that activists are trying to do under the guise of free speech.
