Well my Alien arrived today.
One set of my batteries dont seem to fit, and did not want to force them, but my other pair did, so thats okay.
Filled up the TFV8 Baby with 24mg liquid, and after about half an hour of trying to get her to work (blimey, they are much more complicated than they used to be!) I had my first go..........blimey!! *cough cough*. After looking into it, I gather I am meant to choose a lower mg liquid for direct to lung vaping.
I then managed to find an old fogger atomizer I had about, knocked the power down to 12w and that seems okay for now. Need to get some suitable liquids ordered now for the Baby TFV8 and another pair of batteries.

Thanks everyone for all the posts and info. Well, I have took the first step and just ordered one. No minime, I didnt know it was a direct lung tank, but I do now  Never had one before, so something totally new to try. I presume there is no issue fitting a different tank to it, so will be back later for tank recommendations. Dont think I am up to doing my own coils (yet) I have tried before, and have some somewhere that I ordered a couple of years ago, but for the moment, I will hunt out fastech to see if I can find their coils that fit. Just ordered a couple of juices, posh ones  to spoil myself, as I used to only really do the cheap liquids or self mix mint flavoured. (I did start out with some Grants though, so I have experienced good liquids). |

I am going to give the ecigs another go, so have been reading up all about the restrictions coming in about the sale of 72mg nic. I bought a litre about 2 years ago from the states. It is still in its plastic bottle in the box it arrived in. Should this be disposed of, or will it still be safe to use?
Also looking at getting a new ecig. I have always used a Sigelei Zmax and loved them, but thinking about getting a Smok Alien for when I start again. Am I right in presuming the tank it comes with, I can just buy replacement coils for it, and not have to re-coil it myself? I tried to re-coil before after spending a small fortune on a couple of tanks, and just could not get away with it.

Cheers for both the replies. I think I will give both routes a try. Thats the benefit when they are cheap you dont mind as much if they are not for you.

Okay, I know I might get wrong for this, but its just what I prefer, probably due to having ten thumbs and being lazy  I am looking for somewhere to buy cheap, but decent bauway CE4's. I used to get them from a forum member (Andylec) ages ago, and they were the best ones I have had (cheap as chips too. Andy never said where he got them from, but he did a good job, cheers Andy if you are reading this!) . I have tried them from fasttec and they were just carp, some of them burning out on the first vape. I have tried re-buildables (fogger and the like) but just CBA if I am honest. I just want a good vape without the hassle. So, what I am trying to say is, can anyone recommend anything good to try, or somewhere to get good, but cheap bauway CE4's? Cheers! |
