Now I wish I had a device that didn't have a 10 second cut off  This could be a great little addition to my camping gear. Mind you, even with the cutoff I can still see me using them. TBH the cut off would be a bind on a general purpose torch but this was designed for all those times when you don't have one. And quite honestly it's not a torch, it's a way to make your PV act like a torch. It fits in nicely with your other vaping gear or can be tucked into the coin pocket on your jeans with your other emergency carto (or is that just me)? Perfect for just being there every time you grab your vaping gear and go! I came up with this because I always have my PV kit with me and I can never find a torch when I need one. |

raid2506 The wiring on the switch is also very poor, replaced mine with better quality. White delrin in base of top cap is screwed, conventional thread, clk tighten, ant-clk unscrew. Happy vaping  jeffc PS let me know what mods you will have made . thanks Many thanks for the info, always handy, s'pecially as that's the sort of thing I usually work out immediately after cutting it in half with an angle grinder  |

Looking good. I don't get no better than that! Have to say I'm not a big fan of workshop safety, but you may want to rethink the whole bare foot thing? Even if it's just trainers, you don't want to stand on something that hurts when you are using power tools, could get very OUCHY! Also had 2 traumatic eye injuries in my time and these days I don't even fill a carto without safety glasses on! (They're only a quid online). But anyway, well done, it looks great! |

My wife gives me several elbows every night to get me breathing again, has been this way for 20 years.
Medics round here are crap and nothing has ever got sorted for me so I hope you have better luck with yours.
Mine is due to the soft palate closing my throat which also makes me snore and leaves me tired and with headaches.
If you have enough discipline you can sleep on your front with a pillow under your chin to keep the airway open, works for me.

Hi Maccafan,
I haven't seen a single 510 atty where the lead edge of the -v extends down past the +v centre pin in the connector and can ground?
A few are proud by about 0.5mm but nowhere near long enough.
I would be interested to see one if you can point me in the right direction?
Having the threaded area conductive ensures maximum contact with the -v area on both the atty and connector and is good form if nothing else.

Not at all Chuck. Only about 3 hours total work but was in 15-20 minute bites throughout the day. I tend to flit between projects.
Planning the layout and fiddling took up a good chunk of time so I could get it down to about 2 hours if I did another exact copy.
Also didn't want to end up with any wires hanging down so I used solid core wire which is quite awkward in a build like this. Could take off another 20 mins if I used flexible wire.

I really like the look of that UDT-L, havent seen it before.

Depending if I can still get 18650's for it in a while Preferably mechanical. Doesn't matter if it's telescopic or not... Wanting a top side button.
