How does one clean these, and how does one know when it is time to clean/replace them? The coffee I drink has started to taste differently, so I don't know if it is because I need to change/clean the clearomiser, or whether it is because I haven't had a roll-up for almost 2 weeks LOL.

You could always use a different codec, e.g. xvid or divx.

Bomber, in most ways it's brilliant, but I am worried that some members may find the changes difficult to cope with You mean more difficult than smoking an e-cig for the first time

Im guessing you meant to put a link But the clearomiser will clearly say Replacable or Rebuildable.. www.vapingthings.com/CLEAROMISERS/cat1311953_1221610.aspxHavent used this site but i believe it comes highly recommended by the peeps on here. The Vision ones are what i started on.. im slowly switching over to the Kangers, becuase the replaceable heads seem cheaper Thought I did add it, looks like I did forget LOL. Let me try again www.vapeescape.co.uk/vision-ego-rainbow-v3-rebuildable~388No question is too daft to ask DocJelly. Best to get advice rather than let it go unanswered. (Soz if that sounds patronising, but I think it's best to just dive in). The clearos you'll got [Vision ego's] with the Riva kit are not rebuildable (I have the same kit and have searched high and low on how to rebuild them), but they will last through a lot of refills (they can be cleaned out), so you can put a fair few juices through them, but they could die on you - generally not die immediately but that is a possibility. The above link (if it worked this time, is that comp with Riva 1100?

I was under the impression you can refill a clearo many times or am I getting mixed up?. As I haven't got my kit yet I'm just trying to get as much info as I can Yes you can refill clearos. There are also rebuildable clearos that can be stripped down and have the head replaced at approx 1/2 the price of a new clearo. A 15 second process. There are even more cost effective steps involving making your own coil/wicks. Personally i love my rebuildables It will all become clearer when your kit arrives! Do you mean rebuildables like these?

But Clearomisers don't last as long? According to the blurb which comes with it:
"This can very from one week to several weeks, depending on the type of e-liquid used and the amount of use.

Apologies if this has been asked before, I'm way too tired to do a search (have been helping with a house move all day). I did look at the Terms and Abbreviations wiki page, that didn't help me The Riva 1100 Kit has 5 Cartomisers and 1 Clearomiser. Why only one of one, and 5 of the other? I guess what I want to know is what the difference is, apart from the filling methods.

Rolling a roll-up whilst reading all the replies, and refreshing his memory about cartomisers and clearomisers ..... glancing at the goodies inbetween

Now what? Do I just look at and smoke my roll-ups Seriously now. This is my first forray into vaping. I ordered the VE Riva 1100 Deluxe Kit and Old Holborn juice (50ml 18mg) from OK Smokey. I'm also trying to work out how long the juice will last. I've searched these forums, and I'm still no wiser. I know it depends on how much one vapes, but maybe someone could give some ballpark figures. Hopefully that'll give me an idea as to when I should order juices.

why should Polish fags be weak and feeble? I bought some fags when I was on tour in Poland and they were dog-rough harsh full-flavour cigs. I'm not discriminating Polish fags, just the particular Polish brand she smokes I have mentioned e-cigs to her before, but maybe I'll get her a carton and she can try mine

I got sorted out for myself in another post elsewhere, now I need more help My best mate wants 200 cigs as a Christmas pressie. So I'm thinking maybe an e-cig starter kit would be better. Any recommendations for the kit and juice would be appreciated. She tends to smoke cheapo cigs from a Polish shop, so I guess the throat hit/flavour doesn't have to be very strong. By the way, I don't get email notifications if there is a reply. Should I get them?

So, a vape is the equivalent of a pull/puff? So, if my rollup takes .... lemme go test it ...Ok, rollup takes around 12 pull/puffs to smoke. So is that 12 vapes ? Nah, a vape got to be the equivalent of smoking a rollup. And off topic, do any of you remember the palava a few months back when that bus on the M40 was surrounded by the UK's police, because a passenger was vaping? At least that is what I think the reason was. So, can I vape on a long haul flight to South Africa LOL.
