It seems that the problem was with the coils supplied with the tank. Yep, I tried them all. So I replaced it yesterday with an 0.2ohm coil. So far it appears to be leak free. It didn't last long. So, instead of trying to solve the leak problem I bought an iSub Apex 5ML tank. No leaks ...... so far

Which one are you referring to? Which what? tank or seal? In the photo below it is the chimney seal shown with the version 2 isub g. In the version 1 isub g, it is the same seal but it fits directly into the chimney. Thanks for the explanation and image!

Pleased to report popped a new coil from the one supplied with tank and now leak free Good! As the coils are supposed to last between 6 - 8 weeks, I'll wait till the current one is done before replacing it.

I have only had one isub g ( version 1) leak on me, straight out of the box. I stripped it down and it turned out that the cup-shaped seal that the spitback end of the coil head fits into had been buckled during factory assembly. I replaced it with a new one out of the spares kit and it has been leak free since. The cup shaped seal is in a different place on the version 2 isub g but should be regularly checked as they are easily buckled. Which one are you referring to?

Between 2 iSubs on the go since last August - I've only used 8 heads n total, although I tend to use the clearer/not especially sweet flavours in them. That's roughly 2 months per coil! Wow.

First off, the general consensus appears to be that the iSub coils last a long time. How long is long The other general opinion appears to be that the iSub G tank doesn't leak. Well, it does on mine. More specifically where the airflow is. I have a suspicion that it is leaking where the coil is. Maybe if I stick an extra O ring on top of the existing one, it'll push the coil firmly down and prevent leakages?

I just can't used to the wide mouth piece on the iSub Tank after having used a Protank 2 for ages. Is there anything narrower I can put on top? The original iSub tank had a fixed Drip-Tip so you can't replace it doctorjellybean , only the G, Apex and S models have replaceable tips. Yes, it is the original iSub Tank. Knew I should have ordered one of the others, which I'll do now.

In the end I went with my original choices: Innokin Disrupter and iSub Tank.
Can one use a Kanger Protank 2 with the Disrupter? I'm only asking because I have a bundle of wicks and coils for the Protank.

I'm now looking at the Cool Fire 4 Plus, especially as the battery appears to last longer between charges.
