However I am still smoking about 4 cigs a day and I don't know why really, has anyone else done this at the beginning, or is it just me? Val Well done Val! My guess would be that just about all of us did this! I would bet it's some subconscious thing where we're hanging on to the analogs just in case the witchcraft of ecigs doesn't work! But it almost always does. And I'll bet you did the analogs altogether really soon. Good luck. Sean

Thanks for those words of encouragement Mrl ! The photo's make the insides look a little neater than they probably are but the more I make, the neater they are getting. I'm still messing around with button and led placement so some of the wiring is a little longer than actually needed. Once I settle on the positioning, then I can make the internals much neater by reducing the wiring length. I'm also keen to see how the bottom feeder performs! It takes a little practice to get used to but initial trials seem ok. And of course, once the touch sensors are ready, the buttons will disappear! At the moment, my favorite feature is the discrete led light. They are hard to see in the box and look good when lit. Sean

Pics added to the first post of the thread! And here's the prototype touch sensor... the screw heads will not be used on the final model as I have something much more flush-fitting in mind! Sean

Tax, insurance, MOT's all renewed on both cars this year! Plus the fact that I drive 50 miles to work and 50 miles back each day... it's getting real expensive! £90 worth of diesel only just covers my home to work mileage and leaves nothing for pleasure driving. It doesn't help that Fiona's car has a 3.2 litre engine in it! Sean

No problem buddy... as I said, there's still some issues to iron out with them! Tony is providing a lot of advice with regard to a safety cut out. Sean

MrL, it's not a double barrel - it's a double battery (but will also run from a single battery). If the batteries are wired in parallel, then you get the same voltage but double the mAh, and therefore a much longer lasting power source. There are certain precautions that have to be worked out before I go ahead though. Sean

LOL, You're holding it correctly... it's just risky! And yes, that's how they get their name. They are really interesting lizards but noisy and packed full of bad attitude. The reason I think the one in the pic is under-nourished is bacause it's tail is quite ratty. A well fed Tokay would have a nice plump tail, especially at the base near the body. And your wife is right, if it gets you, it won't let go! If it's really determined, then killing it is pretty much your only option (usually by removing it's head). I only used to handle mine when wearing welding gloves! Forgot to add... they also have 'multiple' pupils in their eyes and can fine tune the amount of light that goes into the eye. They have fantastic vision in the day and even better at night! I miss my Tokays and my other reptiles (I've had many!) and am quite envious of you having them running wild around your home! Sean
