I find mostly the questions are from the curious, and it's a good social thing, gets you chatting to people your sat next to outside a pub that normally would not have started chatting.

Montana yes they are in an upstairs room in a pub. There are too many of us puffing out vapour for the meets to be in the main part of a pub.
The reason I mentioned it is because I don't think it's right that Alan should have to pay for it out of his own pocket. If others are in agreement I think we should have a whip round at the next meet to reimburse him. Totally agree, might not make a September meet due to holidays, but keep me in touch and I can send my share via someone who's going. MP

For those that dont know it, and we should not give away secrets, backstreet east london boozer, that looks like its not been decorated since the war (i went to school with at that time owners son), lovely atmosphere, staff that cannot be more helpful if they tried, just a nice place as long as you ok with bit of dirt and poor decorating. And the burgers are the best we've ever had, and we know about these things lol. www.sebrightarms.co.uk/MP

Phil Just as an idea, today we were out and about deepest darkest east london (shoreditch, columbia road, we are trendies you know), anyway wanted grub and that area a waste of time for reasonable food so ended up in the Seabright on offchance of a table at 1.30, empty us and six others, great had good beer and usual fantastic burger, so i quizzed staff on how quiet considering rest of area packed, "always like this sunday lunch times" they replied, great for a meet, good ale and cider, burgers to die for and vape friendly. And most likely if you arrange anything we will be away that weekend MP

Phil
I got relation just gone from cigalikes to a Vamo, shes out of work and bit pushed for money, so a set of 18650's might be handy for her, if you can keep me a few be appreciated. We off on holiday first weekend and mid september so will not make any meets then, but could always send a SAE.

It's weird, my indoors mod is a Vamo in 18650, so i'm used to the weight of the battery, and a MVP heavy little bugger but the VTR just was not right, so Bob shows you, got to try and try again until you get it right. MP It felt awkward in my hand and the placement of the fire button didn't help matters either. Expensive exercise this being fussy is. See you need a local meet up group, i'm £60 up on you lol MP

Over the many years vaping been lucky not hit with any charges, but 99% from china where they little liberal with the customs declaration, seems most people get caught with stuff from USA, our friends across the pond bit more honest with declared prices. If I need anything from the states, wait until someone i know going there and get it sent to their hotel, I done this for another member, when package arrived to heavy for luggage, so I posted it from states, cost £10, of course i did not know what he had paid so might have been slight error on declared value ???? If you can try a few mods good thing, I was going to get a VTR but managed to get my hands on one at a local meet, found it so heavy even against my MVP, so did not bother, you'll make mistakes and buy a few wrong things, but thats all part of vaping. MP Unfortunately I bought one when they first came out and then after using for a day hated the weight of it and sold it. Great new idea, send it to Prudential, the London freevapecycle, although must admit never saw another vapor, and with my itazte hanging around my neck like a beacon. New idea before its time lol.

Good for you mate but no bugga spares a consideration to us poor idiots that have to sort out the giant mess of crap that these events cause- yesterday was your event and today is another bike event and again the whole of central london has gridlocked. Drivers sitting for hours in their cabs stuck in monumental traffic delays, Nigh impossible to provide any kind of a bus service. TFL campaign to get every one using public transport and then set about creating and allowing events that destroy public transport- then they wonder why people don't use it I also feel sorry for the poor sods trying to get too and from work in outer london when there's no buses cos they're all bloody stuck in town These events shouldn't be allowed, they cause far too much disruption and cost to businesses. Create arenas outside of london and everyone can bugga off there and do their things . Just a little look at life from the opposing side of your great day Nothing personal mate, just fancied a rant no one uses public transport because it's to bloody expensive, not because of the events, if people didn't turn up for the events they wouldn't run them, huby would have loved to do that ride yesterday but he hasn't got a bike good enough at the moment, his last one the wheel sheared off completely, nearly killed him. He could have got a new one Saturday, we were warned to keep eye on bikes as theft was rampant, bloody typical that few lazy sods ruin a nice day MP

Just a little look at life from the opposing side of your great day Nothing personal mate, just fancied a rant As a car user everyday, and working opposite the olympic site I tend to agree, we are still getting traffic grief from the olympics and my journey has 9 sets of traffic lights more than pre olympics, considering it's only 2.5 miles i'm pretty angry myself. But just for one day to take off your driver head (and remember i'm a race driver) and to enjoy London by bike was well worth it. We got it with the tour de france, could only get to work and return by bike, but I can seriously say I own the yellow jersey as first one along route, just don't mention the oxygen I needed mile later through lack of breath lol, see bloody car and taxi drivers caused that, as well as vaping on bike lol. I overall agree Londons getting shut down too much for events, but I enjoyed this one so sod you all MP

We took part in the above yesterday for the first time, what a fantastic time, never seen so many bikes, and great to ride on traffic free roads in central London, done about 30 miles which for non-cyclists not to bad, but paying for it today.
The whole thing was free, we got a goody bag with cycling top, drinks bottle and snacks etc, my partners bike got it's gears serviced and both bikes got a dose of chain lube and we got a free beer on route.
Next year we taking grandaughter, it's a great safe day out for families and i'd recomend it for anyone that get into London easily by bike.
