Ugly yes but there's something about it. Kind of sixties look. I like it when they give plenty of info about the output. Sensible way to save money on a 50 Watt device is to have no step down voltage. I'm guessing it will be PWM in which case they should be able to make a perfectly reliable chip for the same price as a Vamo chip.
Which brings me to today's question : Why aren't we seeing 18650, 50 Watt mods at close to Vamo prices? Is there something I haven't thought of? Problems putting a lot of current through a chip?

No sugar in tea or coffee for me. I have a sweet tooth, have to be V careful at the super market. If sugar weren't fattening I could eat sweet things all day. A favourite is Halva and it isn't real halva for me unless it's sickly sweet. But I don't like sweet juices, haven't found a fruit one that's not too sweet for me, same for anise and... vanilla just awful.

Yes it's cute and a nice price and I want one. But what is point iStick mini? I'm guessing there's an 18350 inside which means 1050mAh is an exaggeration. I get through less than a ml on an 18650. Not much point at home and would need more than one for out and about. So a no from me... but a yes from my clicking finger.

I don't think there will ever be a problem getting hold of mods. For an atty to last many years it needs to be one that doesn't need to be taken off the mod - 510 threads are mortal. So not a bottom filler. I bought 4 DIDS when they were on sale for 44 Euros as my safety net. Something with a hybrid connection should be OK.

Reckon your looking at a mod that will give you 40 or 50 Watts and that means either big bucks or taking a punt. I'm looking for an inexpensive one that does the business, a few contenders but none that have been proven. Sigelei 50 and Smoktech Bec are compromises - not too expensive and not so many issues. For a bit more the GI 2 should be OK as you won't be pushing it near the limit.
Not what you really want but maybe a cheap mech and a good battery are your best bet for now.

If the loyalty points converted to gift certificates are are same for everyone then they are about to expire (12/6/14). You need to type the number in - cut and paste doesn't work.

I bought a USB fan from Fastech which turned out to be a POS, one drip tip broke and a ceramic one needed boring out but this is the only 3 items out of over a hundred. This compares to about 1 in 5 from Argos. The only item I bought from Sainsbury's order and pick up was rubbish as was 1 of the 3 items I got from Tesco's order and pick up. I've added this to my wish list and will wait for the reviews.
