Was thinking again about previous threads about Tobacco control laws and if all goes pear shaped for vapers. Was looking for advice about what would be a foolproof kit to have just in case. By that I mean if I were to put in an order to FT for a mech mod which one, I'm assuming it would be telescopic to take a variety of batteries and which atty that is foolproof and recoilable with a single coil for someone like me who does not have a clue and has banana fingers?

Tank wise kayfun, dripper igo-l both bomb proof. Vanilla or knight mod I'd guess but also nemmys get good ratings from some.

I'd suggest a nemesis or two and a hand full of RG200 atties or protanks The nemesis ain't telescoppic but has different tubes to allow configuration for all batts and can take a kick.

The mech mod is where I struggle, I am happy enough recoiling the kayfun lite (have ordered a 2nd) and have a couple of drippers, have a selection of tanks that I am happy to recoil and will build up my collection over the next 12 months. BUT I am really worried about mechanical mods and the battery thing, I have no clue how they work, how you decide what ohm coil to use on them etc, so I will be following this with interest to see If I can learn anything

You could just do what I and a few others (@spikeyfridge, Perpetua, et al) and just buy loads and loads of regulated mods, so when one breaks you can just go on to another. I think I must have somewhere around 20 regulated mods and only about 5 of them get regular use. If I get a year out of each, I have 20 years of vaping before I have to worry about using my 3 armageddon mech mods!

I think I've already done that just been quietly picking up trades here and there and paypal has taken a hammering too but was covering all my bases

Apocalypse Box crammed with as many iSticks devices that your wallet will allow . . . ditto to a drawer in your freezer with Nicotine Base. I can't be doing with coiling thesedays, so I've a few hundred of these jobbies: www.fasttech.com/p/1591806That all my Protanks, Evods and assorted FT tanks take, they make re-coiling a doddle. That's me and my friend sorted.

Just buy one of each or be like me, 6 of each! I'd recommend stocking up on nic base. The rest is easily got. Get a few rebuildables, drippers or tanks or both and practise, practise, practise. Once competent, you're set for life! Expect a few hiccups but don't let them faze you. Psssst, you can't go wrong with a vamo or 6

Once fitted I just shove a trimmed off piece of wick on top of the coil . . . neither of us have any problems with leakage or wicking either. This lady's nails are quite dreadful, but her short video does show how easy it is bonnieboy.

Penny mod knocks the Nemmy for six, flush fire button, silky smooth, you cant beat it, the ONLY downside (if you can call it that) is that it is 18650 only

I really can't see how any law can stop you buying a battery, mod, wick, wire and a atty or two. And while demand (I can't see that dwindling) there will be supply somewhere in the world. An "e-cig" uses to many common components for any law to distinguish.
Nicotine is the only item i can see them targeting control, the item most of us are dependant on and the only common item between the two.

I'm almost certain that lithium batteries have a finite life
whether you use them or not
I read somewhere that the best way to store them is to use
them until there's about 40% charge left then store them
in a fridge
