Check the box where the price is shown, it will say something about the shipping. Last time I split my order - ships next day and in one order, the rest in another. I've started buying nonvaping stuff from them now.

Sorry to sound cynical but vendors selling fakes are going to try and sound surprised, well they're not going to admit they knew. Easy to tell if he's honest - he will admit the mistake on facebook and offer everyone who bought one a refund.

I'm happy enough waiting when the reward is I pay half price. But the post is pathetically slow. China's a long way away, phooey. It's airmail - a flight from China takes 12 or 15 hours longer than a flight from Switzerland, not two weeks longer. I've had two orders from the US which were just as bad.

Up and working. Came enriched with generous amounts of machine oil so took apart and cleaned. The machining is good, the insulators are very poor and quite a job to rebuild. The part that surrounds the centre pin screws into the base and top without O rings, could try adding some but afraid the tank might then leak. Also the inner diameter of that part is barely wider than the centre pin so I was concerned about a short. It is about Temon size. Four holes equally spaced about the deck and a breather hole so it would be possible to have dual wicks which aren't on opposite sides. I think the air hole is 1.4mm which is too big for me.
I recoiled one of the wicks they provided which looked like it had been oxidised over the coals of hell and it was incident free (yippee). So I suppose it's nearly a good genny but not sufficiently nearly for me to recommend it. But it's set up and vapes fine if you like the vape from a 1.4mm air hole and maybe it will grow on me. It is filled with Ouzo and I will continue to use it as my anisette genny.
Edit: got the second one set up and finding the amount of vapour is not so good. The culprit seems to be vapour condensing on the deck, centre pin and top cap. The deck is particularly thick and the top cap thicker than a DID or AGT. I will try an air coil twice the resistance of the wick coil and might try reboring the air hole to 1.2ml if I have the time and energy. Any other ideas? As it is I wouldn't recommend this genny.

It defies sense.
In trying to explain it, those who do it are rationalising. By that I mean: we do something, then when asked why, we try to come up with a rational explanation. The reason being, we consider ourselves rational people and so assume we have rational reasons for what we do. Some high Watt vapers look at possible rational reasons, see they don't really fit and admit it is a bit crazy. I have a feeling that it is because we are addicted to nicotine. Satisfying an addiction stimulates the pleasure centres of the brain, there is a feeling (whether we're aware of it or not) that more vapour will produce more pleasure. It doesn't work that way with addiction but it doesn't stop us trying. I think shinnyitis also is connected to nicotine being addictive.
I've not even used the 15 Watts I have available now but I bet when 30 Watt mods come down in price I'll buy one.

I just read Robby's comment in the Kamry pipe thread that when Innokin started supplying Fasttech they took the name of their products. Off the top of my head, I can think of a couple of good reasons for doing this
i) They don't want to upset other vendors they supply (there might even have been a term in the contract at the time not to sell to other vendors at a lower price) ii) They want to sell the same product on two markets - the name brand market, where prices are higher and the generic market where prices are lower. After all if they don't sell on the generic market somebody else will copy there goods and sell them on the generic market.
This rang a bell with the material stainless steel, minor parts may not be stainless steel description. I was wondering how can a company be so stupid as to make an atty out of stainless steel and then put non SS screws in (saving a tenth of a penny). It seems so dumb, but perhaps it's just the genuine article with cheap screws so that people will be more inclined to pay extra for the "genuine article" and thrifty vapers will buy the cheap version and change the screws on delivery. ie they are selling in both markets.
I think this may well be what Youde are doing. Otherwise why would they not be selling to Fasttech. It would also explain the quick appearance of "fake" IGO Ms, which are exclusive products - ie a vendor has commissioned Youde to make the IGO M to their own design, and only supply it to them (as they did with the AGA W).
Sorry to all AAEC Far East correspondents if this is something they know all about already.

I can see an order for a V3 and V5 going in very soon, back ups, of course Consider the Sigelei SS V2 - beats the Vamo for looks but cant be made mini and quite a good menu although nothing beats the good old Vamo menu.

Dang. Don't you hate it when you buy something only for it to appear three weeks later on FT? Original a good product.
