I used to be a massive tube, now I'm a total square. Unless of course max stealth is required, then I'm a little tube.

It's still really early days for you, things will settle after a while, I remember the first two months I used to have sore throat, tight chest, especially in the morning, weather it was getting used to vaping or just a reaction to giving up after twenty five years I don't know. What I do know now though is high pg gives me a tight chest, and sore throat. No doubt there whatsoever. High VG made me fart a lot when I first tried it! This has now thankfully subsided! Also caramel flavours make me tight chested. Nothing bad or even near as bad as smoking though. I can now lung hit 30/70 mixes all day long with no side effects whatsoever. In fact now I'm thinking about it, I wrote a similar post to yours about two years ago, it was also worse in the mornings I remember. I changed to higher VG lower nic and the problem went away instantly. I also didn't know much about wicking and coils back then and I'm sure some of it was down to that, not quite dry hits but close maybe. Keep at it.

Ez duz it on ice (or not on ice, your choice) by ruthless juice and under the sea by Vaponought are a couple of crackers! Expensive but worth it for a treat, expect to pay £10 for 15ml each. I'm very close to cloning these two, it's taken a long time but very much worth it in my opinion as they're the best I've had. Of course flavour is subjective but I'd definitely recomend them.

Thats interesting, I've flown 30 plus times out of newcastle airport since I started vaping and I've never once been stopped in departures for vaping, in fact I don't Vape in the line waiting for security as I think it's rude to vape close to non vapers but the first thing I do when I've passed through security is screw my tank back on and Vape at the desk while I put my shoes/belt etc back on. It would appear that most members of staff are not "up to speed" with the rules. I suppose the good thing about vaping is, no one knows your doing it if they can't see you. So if staff do start picking up on it you can always go to the bog!

Anyone else done this?
I did and it's worked a treat. I made some really ace builds on the RBA deck before I did it but found that I had to "return to the wick" a couple of hours later on quite a few occasions which is fine if your at home but not when your out and about and that is, after all, why I bought my Subtank Minis, to get as close as possible to a dripping experience whilst away for work or driving etc.
I used a small triangular file and extended the channels into the base by about 1/3. I use 80% undiluted Boots VG in all my mixes and every wick I have made since filing the channels has been good to go without any need to make adjustments.
I wick as normal with Muji then cut the wick in half lengthways on both sides of the coil giving you "four tails" two on each side. I screw the body of the RBA on and trim the four ends a fraction above the top of the body. Then I just shove the two tails down each side leaving a V where the juice channels are, prime it and bobs your uncle.
I'm posting this because I know people have a bit of bother with high VG mixes on the RBA, my subtanks are the updated ones with the larger channels, however I still found it a bit of a fanny on to get the wick right for high VG mixes. This five minute job has taken ALL of the hassle out of my Subtank minis keeping them firmly in top spot for me as far as tanks are concerned.
Just thought I'd share that with you.

Buy a load of concentrates, vg/pg and nic base and get mixing. It really is incredibly satisfying to tailor your own juice. Chris

You would be correct! You need a minimum of £10 in your cart and that does not include the shipping on top, so a minimum of £10 based on products added. They have got a new one yes Thanks for your welcome buddy! I see, thanks for clearing that up. I knew it was a tenner but didn't take shipping into account. I usually order a lot more. Chris

I doubled up by accident on a 120ml mix last week, literally realised as I was squeezing the last drop out of the pipette! Killed the mix dead. I've just ordered more ethyl maltol to try and drown the bugger in candy goodness!!

Take a few more coils with you just in case. Adaptor for charger. Get some of them zip lock bags from the supermarket that are for storing soups, sauces in. That way if their is a leak they will stay off your clothes. Make sure batteries are in a batteries case. MVP in hand luggage rest in suitcase. Keep spare coil in hand luggage as well as some bottles of juice. Best to have proper labled shop bought in hand luggage not Diy bottles lol, in case of some little Hitler at security. As q said a dripper would be best fir travel as no tank to pressurise. Most importantly HAVE FUN! I couldn't DISAGREE more, shop bought juices will have the hazard warnings on them which can freak out some customs guys, mine were the cheap (30 for 2p) chinese bottles, all of homebrew, and just marked with permanent marker, VM (for vanilla mint) & QB (for Q'n'Blue) I was asked what they were, I explained and offered a demo (which was refused), and sent on my way 30 plus flights for work in the last 2 years and I've never had a pick of bother with either shop bought or home brew juice. Never had any trouble at customs with batts mods tanks. Once my Evic was swabbed when I had been in Amsterdam (no surprise) and in Italy I was once asked what my protank was for, I said Ecig and was waved on my way. You've got nothing to worry about as long as you stick to the rules. Chris

This is all gold for me, exactly the kind of advice I was looking for If I keep a tank with some juice in on me ( for the journey) will it leak in the pressurised cabin? I could understand them leaking in the hold, but is it likely to leak in the cabin? Thanks all for your comments so far At the very least your coil will be flooded. As I said just wrap it in kitchen roll or tissue. Then when you land take the base off, wrap it in tissue/kitchen roll give it a healthy shake and you'll be good to go ???? Chris

Another thing, all of your batteries must go in your hand luggage, it's the law. Li-ion batts are volatile and they'd rather fight the fire in the cabin than not know it was happening in the hold. If you put li-ion batts in your hold luggage you could be in big trouble.
