Hi davey,

That looks like the model we sell, you may of even purchased from us. It shouldn't be an airflow problem at the connection, as they work fine with EGO batteries. It may be that your cartomizer is flooded slightly with e-liquid. Even the smallest blob can make it feel like no air is coming through. Un-screwing from the battery and then doing a few good hard pulls on the drip tip should clear it. If you hear gurgling or feel liquid coming up then it is flooded. If not please email us your order number at lastcig.co.uk/index.php?route=information/contact, and we will send you a replacement cartomizer.

By lowering the nicotine you should feel less of that sensation.
