Ok im stuck at work all weekend and i got to wondering how much nicotine im actually vaping. Its not something i ever thought about when i smoked. It doesnt bother me in the slightest, its more curiosity. I did read that an average roll up contains 0.7mg of nicotine and on average i was smoking 30 rollies... So 21 mg a day. I vape 18mg liquids but some of these are tasting especially strong now.Especially the tab blend that i start the day with and in a full size nova it gets really strong after a couple of days.(Not sure why that is) So the 18mg... what exactly does that mean..is that 18mg per ml ? Im sure this has been done to death here on AAEC (so apologies for that) but i didnt find anything in the quick look i just had.

Cheers Rob, fully understood your post. I did see a picture somewhere of a double coil. will have to try and find it. Liking the sound of 2 coils parallel, I must make sure that I am sitting down when vaping, don't fancy fallen flat on my face. It can be a hard one to get your head round, if you think of the coils as hose pipes supplying current instead of water, two coils (hose pipes) are going to let twice as much current (water) through. All I did when I did my double coil was to twist the two wires together on each side taking care to have one coil physically above the other with a small gap, a bit like bunk beds, you dont want the actual coils touching each other, and dont forget to test the resistance before you hit the fire button Awesome timing.. I was just about to ask if there was a technique for this method

Rob the Nova from Zainy are excellent however with the center post being slightly smaller in diameter I think its a pain doing a recoil but then again being a clown, its probably me. What do you think? I definitely buy from there again. Got to go out in the rain How crap. ...but I gave up winding my own coils long ago and buy the ready made wick and coils, so much less hassle. You get 10 for about two quid from Vaporbreak.... Or in my case 40 for eight quid

we've got Feri's (RoyalVapour) shop in Wrexham now, but I virtually never go into town so don't get the opportunity to see much in the way of public vapers... did see one old girl just outside the local tescos once with an eGo setup, was in a hurry so didn't stop... blimey, Tescos again However, I myself have been getting braver, vaping in shops and even in a hospital waiting room recently waiting for mrs G-J and the thing that surprises me the most is the lack of challenges I've had about "smoking" inside these places... so far, none,0,zero, zilch, to date !!!!!! Even in the hospital waiting room !! Either people are cottoning on, or aren't bothered, or I look too scary to approach Havent managed to get down to Feri's yet. I really need to cos there's a Totally Wicked in Chester, but im not paying those prices

Funnily enough after Robby kindly pointed me in the direction of the Vamo "bargain of the century" i was watching lots of You Tube reviews on the Vamo. I think it was DeseVapes review, where he mentioned he had dropped his Vamo a couple of times on concrete and it just carried on. He mentioned that he once dropped his other..Im thinking Zmax if thats the one that looks similar to a Vamo and it was totally dead. Having said all that its probably down to luck and how it lands. Btw.. i was mightily impressed when he said that the Vamo is now his go to device over his Provari

I called round at my mates to drop something off yesterday. I left the house without my vaping gear. He's a smoker so i asked him for a rollie.I didnt feel guilty when i asked and even less afterwards because....It tasted absolutely awful. Two drags and i stubbed it and spent the next four hours without anything. Though im mostly into the sweeter vapes now i still use tab blended tobacco when i wake up or when i feel i need a tobacco taste hit. I love that taste first thing in the morning much more than i ever loved that first rollie of the day.

Another vote for the nova here. I gotta say tho that in my case i found the mini nova only a small improvement on the CE4 or Kangers. The large Nova has however totally changed vaping for me.

Yeah it would be intersting to see a split of who uses Clearos or Cartos. Personally i took me ten minutes to throw the 5 cartos that were supplied with my kit into the bin. Others swear by cartos

I've made a video that I'd like to upload to Vimeo. It's at full 1080p and is about 5 minutes long - but the problem is that it comes in at about 8Gb. I've tried out a few (freebie) video transcoders but none have been able to keep anything near the original quality so was wondering if anybody here has any experience dealing with this sort of thing? Thanks! 8GB for 5 minutes Most of my full 1080 movies are around that size. What format is your video in?

I too was on the rollies. 30-40 a day. However unlike Beeman I have never had to go to extremes with high nic strength. Im not 100% sure why that is but I do have a theory. When I started vaping I only had the intention to smoke Tobacco flavours. I then discovered stuff like Banoffee and GVC. To me an 18MG tobacco flavour tastes VERY strong after vaping one of the sweeter vapes. I start every day on my 18mg tab tobacco with my first couple of coffees of the day(old habits), then im on the sweet stuff. Occasionally during the day I will have a few vapes on the tab, but I have never felt the need to go any higher than 18mg. I hope it keeps working for you beeman.

I just read the above thread. I do kind of find it sad that Jason @ve and Alchemists cupboard are taking the time to explain postage costs when neither of those companies are charging ridiculous prices for postage. Overall I do think MOST vendors are fair on P+P charges. I guess we just have to vote with our feet. But someone must be buying from Alba???? ???
