Just dropped it on to a hard floor and it seperated, that is to say that the section below the controll unit came off , i had it in 18650 mode obviously, so i tried to screw it back on, nah it's a push fit connection, or suposedly crimped from the factory, but not exactly a tight fit, and no lion's sleeping tonight, ask your mum or dad, so that's it, I had previously wondered about mine cos the gap looked bigger than it was on the bottom section, suffice it to say, I pushed it back on and it's all good, working as per normal, but defo something to watch out for.

I dont think it is a bad thing that it happens, better it gives there with the shock than ends up bent with battery connection problems. I have dropped mine a couple of times.

Funnily enough after Robby kindly pointed me in the direction of the Vamo "bargain of the century" i was watching lots of You Tube reviews on the Vamo. I think it was DeseVapes review, where he mentioned he had dropped his Vamo a couple of times on concrete and it just carried on. He mentioned that he once dropped his other..Im thinking Zmax if thats the one that looks similar to a Vamo and it was totally dead. Having said all that its probably down to luck and how it lands. Btw.. i was mightily impressed when he said that the Vamo is now his go to device over his Provari

Been there and done that many many times. Mine took about 10 drops before the 510 connection ended up pissed. Then the threads gave in. It lives on in another form now.
