Hopefully the little wee man will bounce back quickly, but the travel must be a pain. Is there anything like a Ronald McDonald house attached to the hospital that they can stay at? Yes there is Ronald Mc Donald house but at the moment my cousin comes up with wee lad so she stays in the room with him. Her husband , wee lads Dad stays home with other 2 children. They are saying that maybe next round of treatment the dad and other 2 kids will come up as well and stay in Ronald Mc Donald house as the wee lad is missing them so much and obviously they are missing him too |

Yes he is in Crumlin.
I only live about 4 miles from Crumlin so at least she has some family here.
On Wednesday I dropped up a homemade stew (still hot) they were delighted as they were just craving home cooked food.
He is a great little fella and doing so well on the chemo , very tired which is to be expected but otherwise all going to plan.
he is finished that round of chemo at 1am so will be heading home tomorrow.

Is there something wrong with me.
I do not feel the urge to buy anything else.
What I have got me off smokes and am happy sticking with them.
Just have a few weeks supply of juice and 3 clero's.
Why havnt I got shinyitus ?

He was diagnosed with a very severe form of cancer on all days but New Years Eve 2013.
They live in Westport Co Mayo
The only hospital that deals with childhood cancer is in Dublin.
This week they are up for their 3rd session of chemo.
What amazing people all these children and parents are !!!!

Tonight I converted someone that reckned she would never be converted.
She took one puff and said to me "I think I will be able to give up cigarettes wth this"
She could not believe what a throat hit she got and how like smoking it was.
I wont find out till next Tuesday at bingo how she actually has got o.
Will update you next week. fingers crossed for her as she has been a heavy smoker for the last 40 years
