I bought a load of these to go with my lovely new Evod clones. I was advised to soak them before use, which I did - all of them in a bath of bicarb and water overnight, then plentiful drying in this boiling hot sunshine last week. Unfortunately, 2 out of 3 taste disGUSting! I was using one with my favourite juice last night and got a lungful of the most foul burnt taste. The odd one is OK, and I haven't been through all 20 of them yet, but it's put me right off using them! I've noticed some have 2 rubber rings and some don't. I've only used the ones with 2 so far, no idea what if any difference that makes. So, is it me? Are they duds? Would rewicking help? Or should I bung them straight in the bin and chalk it up to the experience of buying non-brand stuff? I've never rewicked anything, btw, but maybe this is the ideal opportunity to have a go? I got some of their pre-coiled wicks whilst I was at it, but am now wondering whether they'd have the same nasty taste problem too!

Thanks guys, all very useful and thank you for clearing this up too I was heading to the clearomizers, possibly the EVOD by the sound of things as that seems to be a favourite from your replies and other threads I have seen but I am confused by the variable voltage one's that Jen mentioned, like I said earlier I would prefer a longer, smoother draw. I have seen on other threads things like drip tips? I have also read 501's and 901's (have I got that correct?) VV will help you achieve that long, smooth draw you're after. Basically you can turn the heat up or down to suit your own personal vaping style. Low volts will produce less heat, more flavour and less throat hit so you can take a long draw without burning your juice and it tasting all nasty. High volts will turn up the heat, give you more throat heat and slightly less flavour which is great if you want to take short, strong bursts. You won't need a drip tip with an Evod as it comes integrated

victye I'd suggest getting a kit like this one, you get two batteries (so you can always have one on charge) and the Evods, which are quality clearomisers. If you want to dive straight into variable voltage, however, you might want to consider a Spinner or two. Variable voltage (VV) allows you to customise the heat and throat hit of your vape, which you might find useful if you're smoking cigars. I don't do baccy flavours much myself, but Long Bottom Leaf is really nice

Do they actually work, these airflow controllers? Just wondering With a protank screwed in, you can turn the top section or ring of the airflow controller to reduce or even completely block all airflow I'll see if I can get a picture... Brilliant! Thanks very much pyr0!

Hi again. thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I saw the E-cigs in sainsburys near heaton park in Manchester. they are also on their sainsburystoyou wedsite. To be honest, OH has tried and like's Black cherry. but doesn't feel confident vaping in public yet( outside of the house). I hope the more that people are seen vaping in public hopefully it will get more accepted. I'm surprised how long vaping has been around, and it's only down to my Mum (Saphire)on here. that got Us a 2 starter kit 3 weeks ago. that I had really knew about it. I've done a lot of Youtube watching on vaping which has made me confident to vape in public. it's given me a lot of good information. I think cos some haven't even seen anyone vaping that they think it's for drugs. (even I'm not sure what a crack-pipe looks like,,) good to know that I could vape anywhere. we could do with some clear "Vapers Welcome" stickers up in places. maybe one day. Welcome wisher I've seen loads of folks happily vaping away down here in Sale - it's definitely getting more prevalent!

Mine has just shipped! Is it just me or is there something slightly delicious about seeing the photo they post of it? Probably just me...

You'd need to input something like this for a 30/70: EDIT: Or something like that without the error at the top! Just enter whatever your nic base is instead.
