Hi all. while out shopping, I'm still Having to buy cigarettes for my husband ( He Keeps trying vapeing but isn't sold yet) I noticed some electronic cigarettes for sale behind the counter. I asked is that the only ones they have and was told No they did have afew different one for sale. they are not the cheapest one's on the market but it was good to see. (in emergency). so I've just checked on their online shopping website and they now have them for sale.. Yeahhh. it's so good to see these places selling e-cigarettes. I Have afew ego ce5's with afew different juices in, but chocolate mint juice my fav. as I'm new to vapeing I want to keep it simple. And i'm also amazed on how many people I spot clutching hold of there vapeing tools walking about. still not sure where you CAN and CANT use in public, as people that don't know think it's a crack-pipe. but I have been asked about it while I'm out and I've tried to explain with a positive look at them and people are happy with that. not had any negative comments which is great.

Welcome to the forum wisher With regards to where you can and Can't Vape I'm a firm believer of the old saying "it's better to apologise later, than ask permission and get refused" I usually just vape away unless someone tells me not too, I'm always vaping in supermarkets nobody has said a word yet. SO basically you can until told you can't

Hi wisher, and welcome I was actually asked today if I was using a crack pipe! Down at the beach, I truly have lived a sheltered life, have no idea what a crack pipe is,but quicly explained it was my personal vaper, not anything to do with drugs, at to which she said she was going to tell her 40 a day smoker hubby to get one. I will have reseach this crack pipe lark, crack as in cocaine?

Hi again. thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I saw the E-cigs in sainsburys near heaton park in Manchester. they are also on their sainsburystoyou wedsite. To be honest, OH has tried and like's Black cherry. but doesn't feel confident vaping in public yet( outside of the house). I hope the more that people are seen vaping in public hopefully it will get more accepted. I'm surprised how long vaping has been around, and it's only down to my Mum (Saphire)on here. that got Us a 2 starter kit 3 weeks ago. that I had really knew about it. I've done a lot of Youtube watching on vaping which has made me confident to vape in public. it's given me a lot of good information. I think cos some haven't even seen anyone vaping that they think it's for drugs. (even I'm not sure what a crack-pipe looks like,,) good to know that I could vape anywhere. we could do with some clear "Vapers Welcome" stickers up in places. maybe one day.

Welcome. Whilst I totally approve of supermarkets selling e-cigs, some of them only stock one brand.
I wrote to W.M. Morrison asking them to offer their customers some choice between the "expensive" brand and maybe another.
They declined to enter into any sort of conversation about this, so I've boycotted them now for 11 months. That's how I strongly I feel and it's now their loss to the tune of £4,500 per year on my family groceries.
That's now money to J.S. Sainsbury and his gang....so well done Morrisons! keep up the good work. ???

Welcome to the forum. I apologise for my tone, it's a sore point.

wisher, and congrats to your Mum saphire for getting you here. Yes, I believe it's good news that supermarkets are selling e-cigs, they are an introduction, and probably reach people that would not otherwise have even tried them. But we need to get people onto the real gear, the less expensive and totally more satisfying equipment. That's our next objective before they spend more on refills than they did on fags (not talking shineyitis here!). As far as hubby not yet being comfortable vaping in public, tell him to just go for it. It's a great conversation starter, and is more common than he may think.

Wisher, I'm new to this vaping as well. Vape where you want (unless told otherwise), when you want and with whom you want As for the looks you get stuff them, who really cares what people think of you anyway. You only live once as they say

Welcome wisher I've seen loads of folks happily vaping away down here in Sale - it's definitely getting more prevalent!
