I just hope some of the 4300 have donated anything they can to help him continue his work. He and the other researchers are currently covering all the costs., and this survey alone will cost several thousand euro's apparently. If everyone donated 1 euro it would be more or less covered. Really needs the message spreading as far and wide as possible , I belong to a number of non-vaping forums and have appealed on those for people to fill in the Questionaire we could e-mail any friends as well . That transitional period of 3 years was the draft opinion from the IMCO committee - but still to be finalised by them . Other committees still to report ...... hopefully more positive than the IMCO proposal !!!!!

Eventually found out that the meeting 20/3 13 with consumer associations was attended by only 2 , none from the UK. One guy Michael ( Duck) from a German Consumer group whose group is www.ig-ed.org. I think considering 750,000+ in UK and far more than 3 million in EU. we are totally disorganised and the lack of interest is scary, we deserve anything that comes from the despotic ill informed self opinionated minions in Brussels !!!!!!!!. Jeez ....... it's on the 5th page of google behind English Cross County Association , Euro Climate change etc. Totally agree that a far more concerted effort is required . As a relative noob to this I have joined this forum ,UK Vapers and there are some incredibly knowledgeable individuals on both forums but there does not appear to be a single concerted effort . Fragmented divided responses are very easily ignored by the authorities , it needs something,someone,somebody to galvanise the whole vaping community .

We the public are accused of voter apathy by our so-called representatives ...... is it really any wonder with such disinterest in topical issues that affect their constituents ?
In each e-mail I asked for 3 things
personal position on nicotine strength regulation , party position on same , requested a personal face to face meeting ....
