I really don't see an issue here, to be honest, assuming the plating is done correctly. The person linked to on Facebook had sanded it down - had they not? Sand a condom down and you are asking for trouble  Or am I missing something? (wouldn't be the first time  ) |

also has the charging card built into it aswell i think, am going to wait till these batches go out and see if theres any problems then if not flog the reo and get one  Yes it has the integral wireless card, you just need to buy the base station to charge it wirelessly. question asked earlier regarding if the gremlins fixed in this batch, I'm sure VE Jason will advise in the morning  As above Greg - yes, I believe so. |

Get her the handbag Tom That new VS is quite a heavy little number, so the handbag will come in handy for carrying it and keeping it nice & clean when you are out together  Sorry to hi jack this handbag thread but is the board sorted with this batch? Yes - I believe so @letsavit When the issues first came to light, I emailed VS and asked them not to ship to us until the boards had been updated and they acknowledged that (that was about a month ago I think). I think the issues were only with a small minority of the boards and they did show up straight away when used, so not something that would develop outside warranty. |

They only offer the 1 base, Greg - so I'm pretty sure that it will work. But, again would need to check. They only arrived at lunchtime and I think are nearly down to single figures now, but there's more due in a couple of weeks, all being well. So what were you doing all afternoon  Keeping an eye on the Christmas Sweets of course........priorities and all that  Oh....and making sure that Blakey's were shipped, otherwise the earache just wouldn't have been worth it  |

Very slightly thicker Tom - but, it feels well for that and the magnetic battery cover is a big plus too. Pretty sure its the same Skins, but would have to check tomorrow. |

The bottom line is that only around 1 in 10 UK Mains Adapters that come supplied with kits from China are actually compliant/safe.
So - all those mains adapters that you receive in kits from Fastech etc are better considered as freebies and disposed of straight away.
Take a look around vendors sites and see how many offer the adapters with kits - not many, simply because of the above.
Compliant Mains Adapters are expensive - so are usually offered separately - so as not to increase the cost of the kit unnecessarily.
