The K1000 was very hit and miss, unfortunately.
If you get a good one, it will last indefinitely, the duds usually show within a couple of weeks.
The wiring is not the best and it doesn't like some batteries.
When they were first released we had a return rate of 75% (always failed within 14 days for the returns - once they got past that they seemed to be great).
We skipped about 150 of the K1000 after that and learnt our lesson (with tears), but the feedback should have triggered improvement and I would expect a better product now.

Yes they aren't too bad and not something I'm really in a rush for sent a ticket earlier today just waiting for a reply what's annoying me is the lovely hard plastic box with padding was untouched so it makes me think they were broken before being packaged but I could be wrong. Probably not. We had dozens break in the post, no matter how well we tried to package them, RM still found a way of breaking them. To be fair, it only takes a tiny amount of pressure to break them.

Each to their own, but I can't do with the bad language in reviews myself.
No need for it whatsoever and it doesn't do anything for the product. I had to delete a couple of reviews off our site in the past (that had been put up by the staff) because of the language.
Nothing worse than starting to listen to a review with children in the room and hearing a load of bad language (I did a lot of work from home and object to the fact that I have to exclude everyone one else in the house)
I personally think it actually makes the reviewer sound very amateur and the only way they can get any traffic is via the language.

We all know what is coming, but dont forget that we vapers, that are aware of the TPD, are a mere drop in the ocean of the total people vaping right now. Probably 99% of today's vapers have not got a clue what is about to happen, Around here, products that might well be banned have become the norm. iSticks a' plenty. Larger mods, you name it. Totally Wicked outsells the supermarkets and the supermarkets outsell the newsagent abomination that is E-Lites. Trouble is, the supermarkets are only selling Blu and, as I noticed today, Vivid. 99% of vapers (people who vape, not us, the crazy gang) don't know what is coming, but more than 1% will notice when 1) the shops shut down and 2) Blu and Vivid are the only choice. I am disappointed in Todd to be honest. Other than Vaping a BLU kit, that is just about scrapping the barrel. I detest these brands, not because the products are bad (bad in relation or bad per se) but what they are doing. In the UK, on social media BLU are supporting the TPD. (They don't want refillable e-cigs). In the US, where the FDA is planning a total wipe-out, BLU are asking people to sign up to CASAA and lobby their politicians to keep vaping 'free'.... What they want is 1) control to sell the most expensive systems and 2. domination over the bit-players (non-tobacco company products). I would have told Vivid to " " off and never darken my door. A starter kit with nowhere to go is just a starter kit. Too many will go back to smoking. Very Sad. Sad that Todd would get involved too. The thing is Dave, the 99% of UK Vapers are already using something akin to the Blu or Vivid devices (ie. Ego Type or cigalike) You've rightly pointed out that we (forum) folk are in a niche and unfortunately that isn't representative of the masses. But, from an experience perspective, we had thousands of customers who from day 1 stuck with the basics (even carto's) and at the point of us shutting down were still ordering the same basics - week in week out. Personally, I've seen the e-cig world turn into something that I never envisaged and something that I no longer wanted to be involved in - our sole intention was a 'alternative to smoking', not a hobby or lifestyle. So, I fully respect everyone's rights to do their own thing, but can also see that in the long term it would be better to recommend the TPD compliant kits on offer to the 99% of the market that don't share our interests. Better that, than a high fail rate of people who simply don't want the hassle of the current myriad of products available.

Alright the nautilus mini seems much better for me, thought it has a slight cotton taste / smell. (I left it to prime over night so it should be fine) I'm assuming that's OK. I'm enjoying it a lot. The cotton taste will disappear after roughly 1/2 tank Ewol

EwolFor your style of vaping, just get a Nautilus or Mini Nautilus and some spare coils. That's it finished...nothing else to do

Hangsen Dunhill should be very similar Thanks Jason, I've been looking for that answer for two months. Could you not have told me in your email? We took the decision not to do that until the company had closed vcmazzThat said, there has been a paragraph on our website for the past 3 years saying that our standard range was made by Hangsen (at the top of the 10ml and 30ml category pages), so it has never been a massive secret. Hangsen did make them to our spec/ratios though, so we couldn't guarantee that the same flavour from another supplier would taste 100% the same.

I am indeed and I own quite a few of them and have used nothing else since I got the first one I agree with Mark that the supplied drip tip is just a cheapie - but, Zen has explained that it wasn't meant to come with any tip originally, but one of the employees knocked them us as freebies. That aside - the 'set and forget' airflow, knocks spots of the Nautilus and the build quality of the tanks is a world apart (lifetime warranty backs that up). They undoubtedly, to me anyway, have better flavour and less gurgling than the Nautilus and were designed to maximise the use of the coils with regard to airflow. The one downside is that I've broken a couple by knocking them off the desk - so a couple of spare tanks are a good idea (unless you aren't a clumsy bugger).

Not for one minute saying that any particular vendor won't be getting these, but personally, with Joyetech clamping down so tightly, I would be looking for existing stock and not pre-orders. You never know what can happen between now and the due dates
