Hi postald and welcome to the wonderful world of vaping I'm even newer to this than you. I bought a nicolite last Sunday and knew straight away that it wouldn't be enough for me to give up the stinkies. So I started researching ecigs and came across this forum. Great bunch, very knowledgeable and full of good advice for beginners. Took delivery of a Riva yesterday and I honestly think I've cracked it! I know it's early days but it's great to not smoke the stinkies but still be able to 'smoke.' Loving the RY4 the best so far. I'm glad someone else agrees with me that Hershey's taste like vom

Just back from a vape Only day one but feeling v positive. Not been bothered by the stinkies at all. Still feel like a smoker with the vaping but I suppose if I manage to steer clear of the stinkies then technically I will be a non smoker. Have kept up the water drinking but have had a dry throat at times. Does that go off as you get used to it? Does it mean I'm vaping too much? Or do I need to lower my nicotine level?

How do I store the different carto's that I've filled? Do I need to keep them upright? Put them in a little bag? Put the rubber caps back on? How do I know when I need to top them up? I would store your filled cartos with the rubber bungs on them to stop them drying out. if I have a few different flavours on the go, I keep the carto together with the flavoured juice in a small zip lock bag thingy! Others have used different colours of drip tips or even small spots of different colour nail varnish on the cartos to tell which is which. Didn't work for me as I would forget what my colour coding was, so find it easier to keep the carto together with the juice Good idea. I've put little stickers on mine but I like your idea better.

Still going well I used to smoke outside or downstairs (townhouse, living room upstairs) in the utility room with the back door open. Brrrr in this weather. Nice to smoke in the kitchen at the table and I took my Riva out in my daughter's car earlier. Have decided to only vape downstairs as I can imagine I will be overdosing if I start taking it upstairs too. Haven't had a stinkie since 9.30am and I'm not bothered!!! Need to order some more flavours and cartos.

Having a few issues with the cartos tho lol. Not sure if I've overfilled it or something Used the condom method which a lot recommend for new empties, left to stand for 20 mins or so. Still getting some liquid coming out when I blow through it and it just doesn't seem to work like the clearo, as in I'm not really getting any taste or vape Strange - I've only used the cartos so far and haven't had any problems, lots of taste and vape. I thought I'd wait to find a flavour I want to vape all day before filling my clearo. What flavours did you get?

Will be trying caramel in a bit. Now to the questions..... How much is too much??? How do I store the different carto's that I've filled? Do I need to keep them upright? Put them in a little bag? Put the rubber caps back on? How do I know when I need to top them up?

Arrived at 11.40. Filled a carto(?) by the drip method and filled one by the condom method. Left to rest (drummed fingers a bit!). Tried the cherry first. Wow! Was half expecting to cough but didn't. RY4 next - lovely Can see this being a regular vape. So filled next with menthol and another with caramel. Menthol I like - bit of a catch to my throat and voice went a bit hoarse! Big glass of water on the go.

They come part charge so you could vape straight away, but it only took about 20-30 mins to fully charge mine. Not let either run completely down yet and charge each every morning which up until now has taken 40mins - 1 hour. Great - for some reason I thought they would take several hours to charge up! Thanks.

How long do the batteries take to charge up? Will there be enough charge in one of the batteries for me to set it up and use it when it arrives while I charge the other battery?

Tell me about drip tips. Think someone mentioned putting a few drops of juice on them to try out new flavours before putting them into clearos or cartos. How do do you do that?

Great thread Just spent the last hour reading it. You've asked lots of questions I hadn't thought of and I hadn't realised about 'steeping' my ejuices.
