Hi Paul I recently started vaping too, and I've got the eGo Twist starter kit (2 x 900 batteries, 2 x T3 clearos, USB and mains chargers, 5 x 5ml juice samples) from E-smoke Ireland - which has been working brilliantly for me since it arrived last Tuesday. I alternate between the two batteries/clearos, having a different juice in each, and simply charge the batteries up every morning, one at a time - they've not run out on me yet. I may well get a Riva too, once they're back in stock, just to see what the difference is, and because you can't have too many shinies You're going to love vaping, I promise you!

Thanks so much, all - my shopping list just got longer! Once I've tried a few I'll attempt to write a comparative review, but it may be a while coming. Edited to add: just ordered 30ml of the cappuccino from Mirage - with the postage to Ireland it wasn't worth just getting 10ml - so I'm hoping I find it 'exquisite' too! Fingers crossed

Hello, I'm new too! Started on disposable e-cigs last week, my eGo Twist kit arrived this Tuesday, I stopped the stinkies there and then, with ease! Enjoy your new obsession

As a very new vaper, it's easy to get into buying more and more juices 'just to try' - so I've decided to concentrate on one flavour at a time (well, erm, after the 6 new flavours I ordered today are gone). So - I'm looking for the ultimate coffee flavour at the moment - I think I'm probably in search of something like an espresso as opposed to a cappuccino, but am happy to try anything So - anyone got links to great coffee flavoured juices? I'm on around 18/20mg juices at the moment, if that makes a difference. It's taken me half a day to look through all the vaping sites I can find, and am at the stage of having forgotten where I spotted different coffees, so help and direction would be very much appreciated! Mocha is an option, too (Wingnuts Wibble is my favourite juice so far). Thanks in advance

Tabs - go with the Riva suggestions here - I only started vaping a couple of days ago, and got an Ego Twist kit from an Irish supplier, which is working well for me, but it sounds like the Riva is equally simple - and it really IS simple. You get the kit, you charge up your battery, you attach it to the 'tank' that holds your liquid, and that's more or less it. Adding the juice is easy - it's as simple as unscrewing a lid and pouring a small amount of liquid into the chamber. All the technical terms ARE confusing, I know, but I've spent the past 2 days reading everything I can find on the web about vaping, watching YouTube vids and so on, and it seems to me that it's a bit like buying a car - some people want to know what's under the bonnet, others just want to drive somewhere. I'm a driver, not a mechanic - I'd be happy in a Reliant Robin, so long as it got me where I wanted to go. Hence my starter kit. It works, and that's all I need to know for now. Go order the Riva - once you start using it, suddenly everything will make more sense Good luck!

Yep Saffy, I quit the cigs the moment I tasted the Honeywood juice that came as part of my sample pack. I thought I enjoyed smoking. I was wrong - I just needed the nicotine fix. Now I can get that without actually smoking, I am so happy, been trying to escape the cigs for years - 40+ years! Even my husband continuing to smoke in the same room as me doesn't make them tempting. NO willpower involved - if you could fall in love with an activity, I would be in love with vaping. It's made me so happy!

Oo! I get back to the UK on March 22nd, so I could make it up to London for the 23rd, if you'll have me? Very new vaper, as you can see from sig, but VERY keen!

Hi Sprinter My dogs are happier now too - they keep coming and sniffing me when I'm vaping. One seems to be a fan of chocolate flavours. I'm happy with the thought that I'm not inflicting 2nd hand smoke on them. Think they're happy too!

Thanks! I discovered ESI through Boards, so used the code when I got my starter kit They were brilliant when I phoned them, because I couldn't get the thing working - I had no idea you had to press the button when vaping. That plus the supersized order have made me a real fan. Thanks also for the 510 info, I'd been wondering about that number when I saw other people mention it. Steep learning curve I'm on. Right now I'm trying to use up the last little bit of the Wibble in my clearo so I can try the Nut Juice. I'm still having trouble coming to terms with the fact that I have NO desire to smoke whatsoever. It's extraordinary - I gave up for 3 months about 5 years ago, with the help of Allen Carr (sp?) - but it was still a case of playing mind games with myself to not smoke. I succumbed one night after far too much vodka, and couldn't face the self-denial again, despite a few half hearted attempts. With vaping - well, all I can say is that I prefer it to smoking, it's cheaper than smoking, there is more variety (flavours) than smoking, it's cleaner than smoking (erm, had to put my lighter which usually sits on my desk away, because I've tried to light my battery a couple of times without thinking, brain is not always engaged!), it doesn't make me smell horrible, and it's far, far healthier. All that, plus I've found this lovely community of fellow vapers Husband has decamped to the pub - I think he's getting a bit sick of my enthusiasm, although I keep qualifying it by saying I'm not pressuring him at all to give it a go! He won't even have a taste, it's really weird, I think he's a little afraid of the concept, tbh - or maybe afraid of trying to stop the cigs - I know I was, but that was before I realised how easy it was going to be. Ho hum. I'm making a bet with myself that he'll be vaping by this time next year - there's bound to be a day when he runs out of cigs and can't get to the shop for some reason. Maybe then he'll try it! Stubborn man I married!

The Wingnuts Wibble was from E-smokeireland (ESI) - I'm not sure whether they're still allowed to post to the UK (new postal regulations?), but if not, and you really want some, let me know because I can bring some over with me later this month and post it from the UK. My vaping adventures continue - still vaping the 2 flavours I started with on Tuesday - I only half filled the clearos, I guess I just don't vape that much - but I'm almost empty on one, so my next taste trial will be Wingnuts 'Nut Juice' (great name, eh?), because I sniffed it last night and it smells like hazelnuts Talking about sniffing bottles, my Chocolate Donut and Vanilla Custard arrived this morning (again from ESI, who supersized my 2 x 10 ml order into 2 x 30ml - very impressed, they now have a loyal customer for life!) - they need 5 days steeping, but I sniffed them, and managed to get juice on the end of my nose. Panic! I've been reading about how nicotine gets absorbed through the skin etc., so had to go and do some furious nose-washing. It seems to have worked, nose hasn't fallen off yet! Just made the monthly CC payment today, so am waiting for that to arrive on the card before I go buy some replacement parts for when I need them. I was planning on a couple more Kanger T3s, plus drip tips for them - but am still mightily confused about what bits will fit my Ego Twist batteries. I'll be back in Brighton in a couple of weeks, so should be able to get to the bricks 'n mortar vaping shop there to get some advice in person - not going to spend too much until I've had a chance to see and handle the goods! One more question - when flying/travelling through airports, do you put your gear in hand baggage or checked baggage? It's only a short flight, so I shan't need to do any stealth vaping - so if it's best in checked baggage, that's fine. Flying with Aer Lingus, if that makes any difference?

Sorry to hear this Cas. I live about 10 miles from Westport - if there are any fundraising activities going on, or anything I could do to make life easier for them, please let me know. It's a real trudge across the country to Dublin, I know. Wishing your cousin's son all the best as he goes through his treatment.

How's it going, Saffy? My vaping kit only arrived yesterday, and I'm already thinking of myself as a non smoker (I started on supermarket-bought e-cigs a week ago, with the occasional cig). I was also a heavy smoker, and assumed I'd become a heavy vaper, but it seems my use is pretty light, which is good news for the wallet!
The way I see it, my starter kit (2 Ego twist batts, 2 Kanger T3 clearos, chargers, 5 x 5ml sample juices) cost me €56 - I've already saved €12 in just one day, so a few more and I'll be in profit, so can afford to put a bit more cash into expanding my kit and getting replacement parts and more juices to try.
Speaking of juices - I originally thought that the way to go would be with tobacco flavours, but I'm finding I'm leaning more towards chocolate and coffee - it's not like replicating the smoking experience, it's something else altogether - and much nicer! I'm currently waiting on a Chocolate Donut [sic] and Vanilla Custard delivery = apparently they need 5 days 'steeping' (sticking in a dark place) before use, so it'll be a week before I can try them - but am really looking forward to it!
Best of luck with your transition to vaping, and congratulations on the future grandchild!

Wow, there really is a pizza flavour! I have to try it Thanks for the advice Art - it sounds silly, but even after such a short amount of time, my smoker's cough has improved - not so much phlegm (I hate that word!). I'm looking forward to future health improvements - there is NO way I'm going back to smoking now I've found this, still no cravings at all, and an all round better and more enjoyable experience. I'm amazed at the ease of the transition, tbh, never thought I could give up the smokes! Most of the time I live in Ireland, and have to buy everything online (they have vaping shops in the major cities, but I'm a long way away from them) - but I'll be back in the UK (Brighton) in March, and am looking forward to being able to visit actual physical shops where I can see the range of equipment on offer. I'm very happy with my Ego Twist/Kanger T3 set up, but this is only Day 2, so it remains to be seen how long various parts last and perform. I'm wondering if anyone else has gone from being a fairly heavy (30 a day) smoker to a fairly light (seems I get through about 1.5 ml a day) vaper? I was expecting to use more - maybe it's 'cos my juices are 20mg, and I'd use more if I lowered the nicotine content? I'm vaping at will, so it's not like I'm trying to be conservative! I don't actually want to use more (the cheaper the better!), I'm just surprised that I'm not a heavy vaper - thought I would be! Thanks everyone for the welcome - it's good to get advice from others who have trodden this path before me. Happy vaping!
