Hi All My wife decided to give my riva 1100 a go today, she has managed the whole day without a stinky, but says she feels very nauseous now, in a motion sickness way rather than food poisoning- we're on holiday in Thailand btw. Normally she smokes camel lights, which are 0.8mg, today she was using my e-liquid which is 20mg. I don't know enough about the differences between how stinkies are measured in nicotine strength compared to e-liquid, but obviously the liquid is stronger than what she's used to? I'm about to google nausea/e-liquid, but wanted to post here for any possible advice as well? regards Jake

Thankyou Karma! More goodies to acquire.. I'm definitely not feeling any need to smoke an analogue cig tonight and I'm very much enjoying my Archangel Maple e liquid!

Any alternative suggestions for a clearo that might give more of a throaty hit please?

A lovely flavour, but not quite the throaty hit I hoped for..Time to look into resistance I guess, these EVods are 2.5 ohms and I understand that there are lower resistance versions too.

Another user error! The clearo I used was in fact the clearo that came with the Riva kit from Vape Escape which is Vision Ego Standard Resistance Clearomiser. I've taken it off and given it a good wash in warm water and put on one of the EVOD BC Clearos, filled it correctly with some Archangel Maple liquid and have just enjoyed a delightful first inhale... Wonderful..

So, re my earlier post, I switched the battery that had an amber light on the charger, into the second charger I bought and it soon turned from red to green. However, having read alot about using the Riva I dived in and set it up with an evod clearomiser. My kids were on my ipad, but I was pretty certain I knew what I was meant to do...Not...I filled the e-liquid via the wrong hole (via the battery connection)!!! Stupidest nOOb of the week? I think so.. I wiped as much of the liquid as I could, filled the clearo via the correct hole, clicked the battery 3 times then gave the battery 4 x 1 second hits, then held the power button down and inhaled slowly...It popped and crackled as I inhaled, but I got no vapour, just a foul chemical taste (from an e-liquid that was sold as steeped already)
ANy advice please? (Other than get the ipad off the kids!) I'm thinking I need to clean out the clearo and try another?
ANother question, do you hold the button on the battery down for as long as you inhale?
Thanks..

Update: Here's what's happening now: Battery fitted not too tightly to USB charger- green light Tighten battery half a turn- amber light Tighten again (but still not in anyway so tight to use any force ) riva battery blue light 3 times then USB charger goes red.. Certainly not anything I read about in the numerous forums/posts I studied before making my purchase!

Thanks Fred. I just gave it a twist with a view to trying it on the other charger, after I unturned it about half a rotation, the light went green. Just to see what happened, I turned it back tighter and the light returned to it's amber state. I should add that I've been sure not to tighten the batteries too much onto the USB charger.

Hi My riva deluxe 1100 arrived today, just in time for my holiday in Thailand on Monday! I also got a spare USB charger from Vape Escape and put both the included batteries on charge. One battery showed a green light after about 80 minutes, however, the other battery, which was on charge for slightly longer, is showing an amber light. Could anyone tell me what this means please?
Many thanks.

Hi people. I've been using a skycig for a few weeks and have realised that it's just a beginners kit. I'm going to get a riva 1100 deluxe, but wanted to ask what the difference between cartomisers and clearomisers is, and if there are any other extra things you'd recommend that I buy to keep me going on my forthcoming holiday (like extra batteries etc) Thanks in advance!
