I can only speak for myself. For me VTTV has opened my eyes and explained in plain language what is actually going on. I think Dave Dorn and his team have done a brilliant job educating, motivating, mobilising and informing vapers in this country and abroad. If we lose it will not be for want of effort on their part.

Vuse is the first and only digitally controlled cigarette ??? .... I have only got an analogue brain so could some of you techie guys explain what is the difference between this bollocks and my SVD or Spinner? Probably not 'the First and Only'....I believe the Provari uses microprocessor-controlled circuitry!

I found both GVC and King's Custard pleasant enough but a bit bland. I guess over 40 years of smoking (Old Holborn rollies) have taken a toll on my tastebuds. However I have my first batch of homebrew PVC steeping, and it should be ready (steeped for 4 weeks) on Oct 5th. I tried a quick taste last night in my dripper and I'm delighted to say I prefer it to the bought custards I have tried (I mixed at 25% for the custard flavour as I know my sense of taste is somewhat impaired).
I must have a look at Vanillin and CCW Cream as it might be possible to incorporate these into future mixes - though I'm a complete novice at mixing, and have a lot to learn!
At the moment I'm vaping ready-made juice, but my ambition is to progress to more homebrewed mixes. I suspect the only way I'll find a flavour that suits me 100% is to mix it myself.... luckily I have enjoyed my first mixing experiments and am keen to carry on.

I would recommend the Zmax from personal experience. It is versatile and well made for the price.

I have been using the Wolf brand silica from VaporFreak recently and it's definitely the best silica I have used. I think it's as good as Ekowool (though it's about the same price!). I just dry burn thoroughly and flame the Kanthal before wrapping. I get excellent taste right from the off and it seems to last longer than Ekowool in my atties.

I'm currently enjoying Health-E-Vape's RY4Caramel which adds a nice sweet twist to the traditional tobacco flavour. I've gone away from tobacco in favour of the sweeter juices, and this one has a nice balance IMHO.

I bought pre-oxidised mesh when I first started, but it's a lot more fun to do it yourself. It also works much better if you do it yourself IMHO as you need to roll the mesh so that it is the right size for the wick hole in your genny. If the wick is too tight in the hole it won't work properly. I have found this torch very efficient and easy to use: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0001IWYIC/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1You have to buy the gas separately. I don't have a gas hob - but if I did I would probably use it instead.... it's not difficult.

Great mod! It's surprisingly compact with an 18650 in too.

To be honest I would say the Kayfun 3.1 is the one to get if you want a fuss-free Kayfun.
I'm a relative newcomer (7 months vaping so far) and I found the 3.1 easier to set up and adjust than any other rebuildable I have used. The KFL lacks the airflow control - and I personally found that key to getting the best possible flavour from the Kayfun.
The Terminator/Nautilus clones of the GG Odysseus (and the Penelope clone also) are fantastic value and a great vape IMHO. I have been vaping the same juice in a Terminator and a Kayfun 3.1 as a test for a couple of days. For me the Kayfun 3.1 wins (just!), but the Terminator is superb value for money - though more fiddly to set up unless you are used to GG stuff.
The Terminator is well-made, but the build quality on the Kayfun 3.1 is stellar. Frankly the 3.1 is better engineered than my Ithaka. It's not cheap but I think it represents very fair value for money if you're looking for long-term reliability.

Hello and Debbie13! My top tip is to forget about how you used to smoke a cigarette! Learn to inhale gently and slowly - don't try to 'Hoover' the vapour into your lungs as quickly as possible. Vapour tastes better when you savour it, and exhaling through your nose can also help to get the full flavour. Don't be afraid to experiment too - try lots of different juices. Most of us start out with tobacco-flavoured juices, but soon progress to other, more delicious flavours like fruits and sweets There's so much kit now that you're spoilt for choice, but the friendly members here will always help you out with the best devices and keenest buys Enjoy the journey! I'm sure you won't look back and regret it! There's a whole new world out there....
