rom the money you spend on vape gear, you would be better getting a decent camera, by that i mean a dslr that will last years and years, i bought the step daughter a nikon d40 with two lenses for 220 quid for christmas of of ebay, since then she has taken thousands of pics and never leves home without it virtually, quality lasts. See my avatar, i took that 3 weeks ago on a windy tintagel without a macro lens, used a nikon d90 at a distance of about 6 inches and cropped the pic. Rom, buy a Nikon, nothing else. And if you want to take pics in any conditions, of any subject, then you need it to have a manual overide function. From there, you move forward.

I have one apprentice (very pleased how they are working out), I will be looking for 2 new employees next month. You looking to move lynxkat... Cumbria to Norwich is a hell of a commute everyday! Really pleased you are expanding and good luck with the new apprentices, I am sure they will be plenty of applicants. I made my first mix today, ended up getting all my stuff from Postmodern Smoking which worked out great. I know I should have let it steep for a lot longer than the ten minutes I did so, (stop laughing, Frogster), but hey it was magnificent. As good as anything I have bought, and presume it will only get better, over the next 48 hours, because I will have vaped it all by then, well maybe not as I mixed 25ml. I mixed it top heavy VG, as I had noticed in the DIY recipes, all your recipes “ Frogster” , apart from one are VG top heavy so to speak in the tobacco section. Many thanks for posting your recipes Frogster (and every one else for that matter) and the friendly banter, and many thanks also to all the above who offered advice, I sort of used a piece from all of you, but had to go for 25ml because it was easier for me to measure out, if you get my drift. Lucky for me it worked out. Thanks again all.

Thank you, from me also, to all involved. Easy to find a couple of what look like easy recipes, which I am going to give a try.

Hi People, my Smok E-pipe arrived, magnificent. I also got one of those pipes from Poundland, and switched the mouth piece over (with a little modification) from the mini nova, I am not sure if I have been vaping wrong, but I find one does not even have to inhale much, with this device, you sort of press the button and let the vapour just rush in ? Anyone else find this ?

My first DIY Mix, just a few thousand questions away. As the heading says, “My first DIY Mix, just a few thousand questions away.”, well maybe not, just need a little confidence, before I roll my sleeves up, put on the rubber gloves and become a trainee Alchemist. Have been very busy researching. I have got the PG and the VG, intend ordering the Nic Base from here, thanks Romelee www.ltecigs.larsentilbrook.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=61_107&product_id=488 And Tobacco flavour from here, thanks Digicig, www.leisureliquids.com/m&p%20tobacco%20praze%20concentrate.html Trying to use the E-Juice Calculator (of course never used it before) so just asking does this seem ok'ish ?, based on using 10 % of Tobacco Flavouring to make a 50ml batch of e-juice, so to speak. Nic Strength 100 PG 54mg Target Strength 18mg Amount to make 50 ML Nic Base 16.67ml 33.34% Target PG 60 % 10.83ml 21.66% Target VG 40 % 17.5 ml 35. % Flavour 5. ml 10. % The above is what the calculator recommends, based on 10% flavour, does the flavour percentage seem ok ? Or am I way out ? I guess this is a sort of how long is a piece of string question, but just a gentle nudge in the right direction will do. Much appreciated.

Unfortunately its not as simple as that. My TEA gives an additive background taste, rather than a flavour. I'll explain. A certain tobacco flavour will come from steeping tobacco leaves etc etc. The TEA gives a background taste(Flavour) that can be associated with smoking in general. The Tobacco absolute is from leaves. The extract is like a commercial additve to cigarettes (The one I use). You could try adding it to Nic base and see what happens. But I just generally add it to recipes to give a tobacco taste. Hope this helps Ok, thanks, I get your drift, thought it a little simple, my interpretation that is, hence ny questons. Shall keep looking in on you guys, thanks for reply.

Yes no probs... chrisjwFor a 20ml mix of 50/50 PG/VG mix all I put in was 2 drops of this. www.leisureliquids.com/patobaccoabsolute.html3 drops of this. www.leisureliquids.com/patobacco%20blend.htmlI shook it well and put it in the ultrasonic bath for a a few 6 min runs over a 48 hour period. (It may well improve over time as well) In a mix (say a 10 mL tester) to give a juice a tobacco flavour, just put one (or 2) drops... then test it. I made the mistake of putting too much in my first mix... and ruined it, definitely be sparing with it. But the results are excellent... If I find the original thread from E-cig forum I'll post a link to it. There's a couple of posts relating to this subject, not sure on which to post ? but here goes. Newbie, feeling like a numpty, hear, but to clarify, if one followed the above instructions, does one then have a tobacco flavour . That all one needs to do next is, add some Nicotine Base, and PG and VG to suit ? For example, if one used say 50 ml of 36mg of Nic Base and say 20 ml of PG and 20 ml of VG and further say 10 ml, of the above Tobacco Flavour, does one end up with 100 ml of 18 mg strength , of Tobacco flavoured e-juice ?. Or is that too simple ? Of course the above may Vape crap or magnificent, just checking I have / have not, got the maths / idea right, in my head, so to speak. PS, have followed all the above links, not being lazy, just still not sure, and want to get into mixing some e-juice of my own, eventually. Almost ready to go, have PG and VG (diluted with vodka, 15 percent, drank the rest ) Hang on a minute before you reply, just going to get my protective head gear on. Thanks promethian and rich64.

Good idea - maybe in front of TV Centres all over UK, as well as Europe Yes, outside TV Centres/Radio Stations, is as a good place to do such a local demo, that way their crews don't have too travel far, and they can not ignore you. I know these demos are promoting a serious issue, but, dare I say it, you would get more coverage if the demos where carried out in a Carnival Atmosphere, sort of fancy dress with three foot long Vamos. That last bit is up for debate. But from a visual point of view, it gives the cameraman something to focus on, and that's the sort of thing/pic that will grab the front page.

The Press/Media will never guarantee to cover any event, any where or on any specific date, as they react to the news as it happens so to speak and deploy their resources as they see fit, if you follow my drift. They will only ever say, with the best intentions of course, "we will try to get there".
However, I do not wish to pee on your bonfire. So why not organise such an event, and all those who can not get to London, have their own demo on a local level, all in sync of course. A sort of "Vape Meet" come "Vape Awareness Demo", in your area.

Thanks fiddles for taking the time to give advice and add the video etc, which I watched, but that is far more advanced than I am. I hope to get there one day, but way above my station just now. I can fill a clearo, and attach it to a pipe, or any other PV, I think, but that's my top level. I shall buy the pipe with a mini nova, and that I could handle. I hope you don't think I have wasted your time, it was an experience, and much appreciated. But as mentioned, I am not there yet, not by a long chalk. Happy Vaping.
