Here we be having Ulysses, a DNA200, sporting a Crius for it first day back in the world. In the crius we have Creamy Soda to vape on. Ulysses had been unwell (blown DNA200) and after tender care he now has a slight leftover infection called screwface (had to use bolts and standoff nuts to refit the board into the box).  |

Siblings together at last. . . Ulysses is working again and hopefully I get more than a day this time. Did have to alter the design a touch since the screws that held the board in before would not hold it tight on the second run so I had to use the post and bolts type setup meaning he suffers from screwface. . .  |

The DNA200 is back.
Now have a spare screen and JST-XH connector. . . at the moment have no use for either - didn't even use the original JST connector after all. . .

Thinking about buying more walnut to play with.
Would definitely get the thicker boards next time though becasue the thin stuff is kinda fragile when trying to joint.
Might even have a go with mahogany.
Can never have too many self built things to keep me going. . .

Trying to get my cnc mill back up and running but ive got a couple of issues. Has anyone got any experience with Universal gcode sender software. Sadly not, but anyone who is really good with java might be able to read up fairly quick and give you a hand. |

The box may be incredibly dodgy (waste not want not though) and the one I made for the DNA200 is better, but still I give you Alerik. It is a DNA75 which ended up with single 18650 battery since it was a little bit of a cram with two batteries. Also with a crius on it is slightly top heavy lol.  |

Sometimes I do think about getting fast set epoxy, you know like right now while I wait a couple of hours. . .
. . . then I remember how bad things can go when it sets fast and you have to remove it all to correct a small mistake. . .

So while I wait for the DNA200 turnaround (Chicago seems to be some sort of postal sorting black hole so far), I had another wooden box not quite big enough for what I wanted to do with the DNA200.  It is a teeny bit smaller and has straight joints rather than dovetail ones but is otherwise much the same and already Evolv friendly in the front face. So I have quadruple checked and decided I shall fit a DNA75 with parallel 18650's in it. Should just be a case of getting the bits and putting them in in the next couple of weeks. Need the DNA, a 510 connector, some buttons and the dual battery tray (already have wire etc.) |

It seems to be but worst comes to worst I'll have to buy another screen. I'm just pleases to be finished lol There's something to be said for a nice square shaped box with lots of room A nice box with just enough room + a little spare is my preference lol |

I've got an rx200 or Primus so no worries there, and will have my DNA200 as soon as the board is fixed and back from evolv.
