It's ok Rusty I'm sure no one thinks anyone is being pushy. We're all obviously passionate about getting something done. It's a shame more people haven't been involved but hopefully once we're sorted we can start spreading the word.

Just got my Riva today from James and I'm very happy. I like the carts, a lot quicker to fill than a carto but don't hold as much. Swings and roundabouts. I took the filler out and popped in some blue foam, much better vape. I like the size and colour too, goodbye tampon! I'm going to stick with tobacco flavours with these atties, I already found out not to mix flavours on one attie.  For a first e cig I wish I'd started on this, highly recommended. Simple to use and really nice vape. I'm a happy bunny!  |

I feel the same as you Scylla. I agree Perpetua would make an excellent Chairperson but I'm sure everyone will agree with me when I say that if Perpetua doesn't want to do it we don't mind in the slightest. I'm sure whoever fills the position will be more than suitable. |

Thanks Scylla! This is a fantastic forum with some very experienced and wise vapers. I am so glad that Lee and katfish have put themselves forward for the steering committee. Cat suggested that to speed up the process that we nominate and second people for the Chair position, so amongst others I have nominated Perpetua. I know that time contraints and the timing of the meeting next wednesday are problems, but she would make a fantastic committee member. Please consider it carefully Thanks Rusty I second this. |

I haven't watched since Tom Baker I think. I used to love it as a kid. Actually watched a few with the one before David Tennant come to think of it.

I just got some RY4 from James last week and mistakenly ordered super high or something. It feels like I'm smoking a real cig when I vape it. Definite throat hit. I'm having fun trying to mix it with all sorts to calm it down. Having said that it's helped get over my cravings a bit.

I just found this which clears it up for me. e-cigexpress.com/blog/tag/e-juice/It makes much more sense now. This means that the 10ml bottle is just a 24mg bottle of e juice. Well within the norm but the misuse message still applies. Drinking a 10ml bottle would be very dangerous. The fact that the electrical side of things was not safe is an easier issue to address. |

I'm not sure how it works but the lethal dose of nicotine for adults is around 40 to 60mg, around 10mg in children. I've read that smoking 20 real cigarettes equates to absorbing about 30mg of nicotine. Therefore 40 cigs could kill? I'm guessing this has something to do with how your body metabolises the nicotine. So you would have to get 40-60mg in one go maybe?
I've also read if you are vaping and you vape the equivalent of 20 cigs, you are absorbing the juice strength in nicotine. For example if you consider one cart to equal 4 cigarettes and go through 5 carts in a day you would have absorbed 18mg of nicotine from an 18mg strength juice.
I may have this completely wrong. In any case a 10ml bottle containing 235mg of nicotine sounds dangerously high. If any of those kits have been sold and get misused there could be even worse news to follow.

I'm not sure which battery I have. It's a bit longer than the ones in the Tornado kit on the TW site. Actually I just looked again and it might be a mega 1000 mAh, that would fit with the charge time.

Happy to help Let's hope we can make a difference. I love vaping too much to lose it now. I can see me moving to China if things don't change.(My dad is from Hong Kong so I could go and live with him) I don't think my wife would be too happy though! |
