smarties Thanks mate, glad you got it sorted. Gennys can be fiddly to get right as its quite easy to get hot spots with them, but once its going good its a nice vape. Also that wick will last for months, i used to use a syringe to flush out the tank, dry burn then fill with a new flavour juice. 2.0oHms is ok mate, you could try 1 or 2 wraps less, i personally find around 1.3 ohms is good for me but my Vamo wont fire if i go lower lol. If you are going sub 1.0oHms please make sure your batteries are rated for a higher amp draw. I also have a nemmy and kayfun clone, i use a microcoil and cotton in the kayfun and i find its a better vape then the genny lol.

Try the Petar kay method? or oxidise the wicks before hand yourself Its basically using a drillbit or nail to wrap your coil

Fasttech is on spring break at the moment not back until 5th Feb and expect a backlog in shipping as it's all of china on hols including shipping companies This, that means you will be lucky to receive anything from FT before the end of Feb.

I also have about 8 old lappy batteries here, i wouldnt use them in a mech mod personally but in my Vamo they work fine. They dont last as long as my panasonic batteries, but they work perfect for day to day

I am quite pleased to have the grub screw filling hole rather than the valve .... less to go wrong and filling is straight forward with a fine tipped bottle. Same, a valve that could go wrong and leak especially on a clone would make me nervous. The grub screw is fool proof

I find that most fruit flavours need very little steeping, especially citrus or berry flavours

Dolly .. I also have the eHpro kayfun 3.1 es clone from Modsandatties and it is whistle free with the air adjustment screw fitted .... it just seems to be the Russian 91% that likes to whistle. Snap, i also have the 3.1 clone from modsandatties as well as the Nemisis clone, match made in heaven to me. And it doesnt whistle Mine has a grub screw as the fill hole, so a T-juice bottle filled with your favourite juice fits it perfectly

also i find it best to start with small amounts of flavouring as its easier to add a little more, but hard to water down over powered flavours (one of Perps many tips )
