What I still find totally incredulous is that the Government DARE question the safety of e-cigs while at the same time allow the sale of tobacco products (which are KNOWN to cause cancer and kill 50% of the people who use them) in every corner shop in the country. How can tobacco be okay to sell, but e-cigs not?!!

By the way, this is probably covered many times over in other threads, but are the "big boys" in the e-cig industry going to start putting some serious money into getting some proper tests done? Or is it that people haven't been doing it for long enough yet to get any proper analysis? I'm sick of the same old lines being dragged out of vaping "not being properly tested". When are tests going to finally be done and research produced to shut these stupid people up (or, of course, educate us vapers if it really IS harmful and we don't know it!!!)

I think she was trying to infer that if you use an e-cig in a confined space and an ex-smoker passively vapes the odourless vapour, the minute amount of nicotine they inhale (and the sight of someone carrying out the ACTION similar to smoking, I presume) will subconsciously make that ex smoker want to smoke again. Utterly ridiculous!! I'd be ashamed to say that out loud to be honest! Surely, the most logical "worst case scenario" would be that an ex smoker might want to try vaping? So, perfectly harmless really!

I saw the item while I was getting ready for work and went down to my hubby in amazement at the utterly ridiculous reasons that woman came out with. I can't believe a professional actually sat there and said that passive vaping might encourage an ex smoker to start again. I wonder if ex smokers are tempted after eating potatoes, cauliflower or tomatoes, which all contain nicotine??!!!
And to assert that plane passengers are lighting up real cigs because they see an e-cig user and think it's okay to smoke ... REALLY??!! I want to know where and when this happened because I frankly don't believe it!!!
I am saddened that ITV gave that ridiculous woman airtime.

Hmmm, I've only got clear needle tips. Found a temporary solution with mini round stickers on the lids of all the non-needle topped bottles with the starting letter of the flavour. Cuts down the search time considerably!!

Hmmm me and hubby have each got a black version of this kind of pen holder but they don't spin round and I DO like the see-through-ness of these ones. Will have to check out my local Tesco tomorrow I think.
Now ... any suggestions on storage of juices?? I have a wooden box but we have too many juices to fit in it, plus when they are stood up we can't see the labels without picking them out. Takes ages to find what we're after and to be honest I've forgotten half the flavours we've got in there!! What does everyone else store their juices in please??

AT LAST!! My fasttech order from 14th August has arrived. My teeny weeny 350 ego kit and my spare CE5s and Evods. Looking forward to trying these wickless CE5s. Stay away from pineapple juice in them though - just cracked straight away.

Absolutely LOVE my mini Davides. I have put them on basic ego batteries and they work brilliantly. Hubby has the mega Davides and loves those too.

I think that anyone who has gone to vaping from smoking will agree that the last thing we worry about is the very insubstantial caffeine-equivalent danger of inhaling nicotine. Compared to the 4,000 chemicals (including 59 known cancer-causers) in cigs, the vaping wins hands-down. Anyone who hasn't smoked but wants to vape will, I hope, use 0% nicotine liquid as they've no need to have nicotine even in there!

I do find that vaping my popcorn liquid curbs my sweet tooth! Liquorice does too. When I quit cold turkey a few years ago I piled on about 2 stone with my nibbling! This time, I'm nearly at 4 months with not so much as a pound on.

You're doing brilliantly Debbie . . . bit by bit as vaping becomes more enjoyable to you, you'll be replacing those ' habit cigs ' before you know it with a nice vape. If you'd like a good clearomiser with a glass tank, perfect for any potential crackers, then the Davide is excellent. The coil heads are compatible with the Evod ones as well: www.safercigs.co.uk/ANYVAPE_DAVIDE/cat705284_2046802.aspxMy only issue is that I do not want a glass tank, trust me I would break it within the first few days, I really am that clumsy, already dropped this one 5 times since yesterday morning, they are just so heavy at the side of a rollie...so am looking at other tanks that claim to be tougher to crack... So daughter came in from the pub last night.....it all ended in my final figure of 9 stinkies, more than I wanted but I did not deprave my self...I had a limit in my head of 15. So far still 0 today....after eating it really does bite at me, arrggggg. Debbie, my hubby now has totally glass tanks and he kept knocking them over so I got us both a really cheap black pen holder each - the kind you have on a desk with different height tubes. We now keeps all our e-cigs and spares in those holders and nothing can get knocked over. It's especially important for us as we have a 4 month old puppy and if we broke something and spilled juice, I'd be so terrified he'd lick it!!! The flavour and vape from our Davides (me - mini, him - mega) is second to none and I'd thoroughly recommend them!! You WILL stop comparing these to rollies soon, trust me. If I do any comparisons, it's the other way round. I puff away on my e-cig thinking how much more expensive my old Mayfairs would be, how much smellier, how much the smoke would linger, how much I'm loving my new variety of flavours, how much my lung function has increased already, how fewer nasty chemicals I'm ingesting... In fact, how much better life now is!!

You're doing really well Debbie. Just a suggestion, but when you find a flavour you totally love you could always get one bottle of 24mg and have that in a device that you use for first thing in the morning, after a meal or when you're on the phone. You might find it gives you that extra hit you need at those times, just for the first week or so. I have an SD keyring and I find the pre-filled cartos in that give me a slightly stronger hit than my other e-cigs, so I use that when I have a beer LOL. It's amazing how quickly you will get used to the habit of getting your nic intake from the vape instead of the stinkies. Honestly, after a few days your tastebuds really do start to change and the stinkies taste, well, just WRONG. I can't think of anything that would send me back to the stinkies now. It would definitely be a downgrade from what I've got now

Well that is flippin gorgeous! It says it's out of stock so doesn't show the price ... massively expensive?? I'd love something like that. My hubby has just built a fantastic looking piece of kit with a shiny mod and a tank with a carto inside it. It's all double-dutch to me but it looks good and apparently vapes like a steam train. Way to big and heavy for me though.
