Hi mate had exactly the same problem myself, what I figured out was happening in the end was that the rubber grommet in the atty head was being compressed too much when screwing down the atty, so it was plumping outwards slightly and totally choking the very small gap the the air would normally flow through. Seemed to me the older (and so softer) the rubber the greater the chance of the problem, so as a temporary cure I recoiled the heads as normal but was very careful not to push in the base pin in too hard (and precompress the grommet) and not over tighten the protank onto the mod. Also make sure the pin in the 510 connector in the mod is raised up properly. Order a load of fresh ones from Fasttech for about 50p each and when they turn up rotate the old ones into the bin  sorted |

I use 2mm silica with 5 wraps of .2 wire wrapped tight using a paper clip splint, three or four threads of silica on top and don't twist the legs. Same as you we use 60/40 and I can honestly say I've never ever had a problem and must have recoiled hundreds of heads cos we change them after 2-3 days whether they're gunked or not. Have you ever considered trying back to basics Ros?

Nic base is produced from pure nic and pg or vg right? In the same way that 5.4% is less expensive than 7.2% cos theres less of the dear stuff in it, so 3.0% will be proportionally less expensive again. It will be slightly more expensive mg for mg to buy 3.0% but not massively so, THIS is a good example of that. Vapers on strengths greater than 30mg are in a very very small minority, they have two choices as I see it, start putting away a stock of 72 or stronger, or use the next three years to decrease their nic gradually to 30, it's unnoticeably easy to do, 3mg at a time every other month; even 45mg users could do it in under a year. I've gone from using 24 and 18 juices, to using 15 and 12mg, my future batches will all be 12mg, and in the new year I'll drop to 9mg and so on. The thing is I've got 3.5 litres of 54mg in storage, I reckon at this rate I'll need less than a litre to last me forever so 2.5L will probably end up on the classies  |

OneDay thanks very much that's really good of you mate, but the Vmax's can easily stay at home we're not desperate to take them, mrs poo has Protanks and Evods anyway, she'll use her ego batteries in the evening I guess and the Vamo or Sid in the day. I'll be on a kayfun or a Ithaka on a mod anyway, sod em, clouds are good

I have a lot of time for VE Chrissie but that's too rich for me  Well I say me, but I only use rebuildables, it was for Mrs Poo actually! I don't mind vaping on a mod in a restaurant, but Lynn's like 'oh I feel so self conscious' Get less self conscious my lovely, Protanks on a Vamo are so Northern Cyprus right now! Tease-smiley Ordering her some from focalecigs, they should be here when we get back'ish! |

It wasn't the taste mate, there must be something in it because when it hit my lungs it was like a tickly cough that I could not stop. Im going to give it a go in a few days because from what I tasted I liked it but if I was doing a live you tube review it would have been funny  Not such an extreme reaction as this I hope Ginge.
