 Thank you everyone  I took a little break, sorry. I know it was very rude especially now i see everyones kind wishes. Just needed to kind of get away to sort my mind out. Thank you everyone for your wishes - you brought a tear to my eye! I didn't realise so many here are also living with similar problems and even worse. To be honest, i kind of feel a little bit silly to make a big deal of it. In the big scheme of things, it's very minor. I'm not going to mention you all, but all of you - you are stars. I hope you also are able to stay on top of your pain and problems, my thoughts are with you! You know - one thing that has changed in me over the last few months or so is seeing people that can't get around so well and saying to myself that I kind of understand what you might be going through. I never saw it before, I never realised just how much invisible things can effect people. I used to think that it wasn't real, that they might have been joking or attention seeking or just weak. God I feel guilty about it! Really, thank you!

Yep Martin, you talk loads of old bo$$ocks at times, find me a member who doesn't!!!! I think that is why this is such a great Forum, you can let us know whats going on aside from Vaping and it's anonymous (mostly!). I hope the new regime comes good, my Mrs has Lupus and some of her symptoms are similar to RA. I dont suppose they are going to Gold Plate you?? Carbon encased for me  |

Hey up, my wife has that poxy fibromyalgia and gets severe pain all the time so I know the effect it can have on someone, she's on that tramadol, codiene and various other things but it still hurts. Bloody weird illness that one. But yeh, regarding a forum I think it's a great place to talk about anything really and this place is full of superb people so carry on, better than storing it all up, that's for sure. Yes, poxy in the extreme! They seem to be hard to diagnose, even to get the attention of the doctors that something is wrong in the first place. I just hope that for the most part she can be pain free and you can enjoy those moments amongst the low times. |

I've been on Tramadol for quite some time and I hate them  got to have an op on my knee soon and had an op on my shoulder last year. I hope you get the correct medication dosage soon so you are relieved of pain. That explains a lot  I hope the knee op goes well, I'm sure after your recovery you'll be running around like a opioid crazed loony! |

I know there are plenty of people here in a much more deserving position of hugs, but can i have a little moan about my lot?
Been having really bad joint pain for over 6 months, gp put it down to gout as levels were high, but still it was there, all over the place. Finally saw a Rheumatologist in december and he also thought gout but took more bloods. Saw him on monday and my anti ccp level is very high (over 200) high which is apparently the confirming pointer to Rheumatoid Arthritis.
So thankfully now I have gotten into the system, I start on drugs for it on sunday and I hope that they will help to keep it under control.
I've been on stronger painkillers for a while (tramadol) stepped up from codeine which has helped with the pain, but I am sure i have posted random stuff that seems whacky. I haven't meant to upset anyone, I apologise if i did.
To be honest, i don't really have anyone in my life to talk to about my problems. Sorry to just put it out there, but felt i needed to do it. I normally try to keep up the strong man thing, but sometimes, it's hard.

what are you vaping @allaserboy ? I vape at home and asked my husband, who is a nonsmoker for many years. He assured me that only occasionally he can very faintly and only for a few seconds smell something. I guess I belong to the boring type though I only smoke viginia - one pure virginia and one mixed with a bit of menthol ps how do you make the name of another member green ? - thanks - it worked once with the @ - but now it does not Its a home made aniseed and liquorice, quite strong smelling. I think they walked straight into a big cloud I needed a good hit due to having just spent 20 minutes standing in a playground surrounded my squawking mums and annoying pre-school brats. my name has a 1 in it. I think you can press alt and click the name and it will pop it into the reply box, but don't quote me on that |
