Hi and welcome to here. Its a good place to be with a wealth of knowledge  I have 2 Riva 1100's. These were recommended to me by Chrissie  one of which has had the hammering of its life for months now. Somewhere I read that you can dilute the strength with neat vodka, which will also dilute the strength of the taste (probably totally wrong), but the next part that you have to do is find a juice that really does it for you, that's really difficult because one day your favourite juice will taste pants and you will change again. The trick here is to only buy small amounts and give them a try. I vape Benson Fences 36mg,Golden Virginia 36mg, HS Menthol Sensation 24mg, Irish Cream 36mg which I change every few days as my taste buds change. Stick with it and experiment with flavours and strengths, its better than smoking those smelly killers. |

Good to hear that you are back on track. Never had a Riva battery give up on me....touch wood, probably cos I've ALWAYS got 2 batteries with me  Sod it....just ordered ANOTHER Riva 1100 (just incase) from Vapescape.........you never know......  |

Thanks Rich ... Your circus sound very similar to my own God .... I've only been doing this properly for 2 days ( I don't count the wasted sky cig weeks ... Argh !!) and I'm already resigned to the fact that I've developed a virulent case of shinits ...the Vamo looks cool... Gonna look into mixing my own this weekend ..... What have I got myself into? But ... I deserve it .... I'm off the fags so Its only right that I get a special treat !  Hi Spikus, I don't know what colour Riva you have but I had black. After a while of knocks and drops the black paint started to chip and wear, I did no more than went to the shed and gave it a good rub with some wire wool and metal polish......result.....shiny stainless steel Riva complete with shiny cone cover, looks the mutts nuts  |

Baz.... I'm on 24 mg ... I can honestly say no cravings whatsoever !! I originally found this no craving thing quite remarkable after going through all the other "no smoking" crap, you know the stuff....patches, chewing gum, hypnotherapy, cold turkey etc. Now done well over 8 months which for me is totally unheard of after 30+ years of smoking. I'm glad that its working for you |

I reckon its also the actions of vaping that simulate smoking that give some sort of satisfaction, hand to mouth, throat hit, something in your hand and when I'm driving to work I always seem to be chugging on the Riva at the same point of the journey, which is the same point when I was smoking fags. If I was to give the Riva a good bashing of 36mg first thing in the morning I can get something of a head rush, but not quite the same as a real ciggie which points me in the same direction of previous posters that its all the other rubbish in the ciggies that contribute.

Hi Spikus, I don't know what mg nicotine you are using, but I found that if you vape quite high strength (24mg or 36mg) you shouldn't get ANY craving at all for a real ciggie...... maybe that's just me, but worth a try |

Siffy, this is a pic of a different kit to yours, but it shows what things are called -  Hi Siffy, Welcome to here, you see Chrissies pic, that's the same kit that Chrissie recommended to me ages ago. Mine was also black.........once..lol, now its silver cos its had so much use the black has wore off. This kit is on Vape Escape site and you would not go wrong with it. I am probably classed as a heavy vaper and have really hammered it and it always comes back for more. There is every thing that you will ever need here, do yourself a BIG favour and get one. |

I must credit misteliquid,i bought 4 different juices from them and reviewed them yesterday,two positive and two negative so i expected them to leave out the negative ones but they didn't,it's the only way that buyers will get an honest opinion so full credit to them. I tried them a while ago. Ordered some Banana delight (or something like that). Well it arrived, it sort of smelt like bananas but didn't. Tried it and was not impressed at all, so I left it to steep, what was left was a taste like stale Irun Bru, not nice, left reviews but will not use them again, so that's one customer that they have lost. |

Hi Mate, Welcome to here from sunny Dover, do yourself a favour and go to Vape Escape and get a Riva 1100 deluxe kit, it comes with everything that you will need except juice, even a spare battery, you will not regret it. You will have it within 3 days. This kit was recommended to me by Chrissie ages ago, I still hammer it and its still going strong. All the black paint has wore off and now its stainless steel.......Cool |
