Yes, we didn't even check, because you simply assume that venting is standard in mods these days, for a long time now... But we will get it sorted.

As it appears that the 18500 Firebox Squonker does not have adequate venting, we have requested the manufacturer to install some venting holes in the device.
All iVapour customers who ordered the Firebox from us will receive a replacement battery cap with suitable venting capability, when they are ready.
The manufacturer has said they will now be adding venting holes for future production of the devices.

In those pictures above the thing actually looks like a pipe bomb and I wouldn't advise anyone to carry on using it until I get confirmation from Toby. In the case of anything untoward happening, and although the device should have adequate venting (of course!), the battery is Li-Mn IMR chemistry, which means that there is no risk of venting with flame or explosion; although it could go thermal in the event of a short circuit, if the top cap is not removed in time.

I will contact the manufacturer about this now.
I've put them out of stock until any info about its' venting capabilities can be confirmed and/or any possible lack of venting issues resolved.
If you have any concerns, I would advise not to use the device until any possible concerns are resolved.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Are the Kanger cartos better than boges? Much of this is down to preference, although Boges seem more popular... .. also because the Boge now come in pre-slotted variety, which are now more popular than no-slot or pre-punched... (Personally I prefer dual coils, which I slot myself.) Bear in mind also that Boge cartos have much denser wadding than the Kanger or Smok dual coils. (Hence why the slotted Boge cartos have such a large to slot to feed the carto.) The Boge cartos take much longer to pre-fill. The most important thing to remember with carto tanks is that the carto needs to be fully saturated with e-liquid before first use, as if there are any dry spots in the carto, when you fire it up, it will burn the wadding, and then you won't get rid of the burnt taste, so the carto is for the bin.

Thankyou! Yes, it was the 510 V-1 I was looking at and that was the info I was after. The SD keyring is 14 mm wide I belive. Is it possible you can let me know the max width and length of bats that will fit in the slot? Thankyou again. At 11.5mm wide, the E-smart is the widest battery you can fit in it. Longest 510 battery that will go in is 87mm long.

Edit: Is anyone using a PCC case to recharge the SD keyring or small 510 bats? I'm thinking of getting the SD keyring but would prefer if it can be charged on the hoof!. Hi, I'm expanding my Kit(s). First up: for the grab and go/stealth kit is there a pcc that will safely charge Kanger esmart batteries, the SD keyring and any other narrow/short batteries up to 400mah? I'm not looking for a cig-a-like kit just a compatible charger. I've found two on sale at i-vapour and vape escape but there are conflicting reports on whether the PCCs at 500 output can be used to charge low Mah batteries ??? Any advice from people that have and use them would be appreciated. Thanks in advance... The output of the 510 V1-Power PCC is only 80mA; so will be fine for most 510 batts (couldn't confirm on some of the other manufacturers, as there are a lot of different 510 batts out there), and is fine for E-smart batts. I don't think that the SD battery will quite fit in the slot though (just too wide I suspect), and I can't find one here to test it...
